"This was an amazing hotel experience the staff were nice and the rooms were spotless. Their breakfast was too good but it was decent. The only bad thing was the service, I needed several things from the front desk and it took 15 minutes for someone to come help me, they were very nice when someone came to help me."
"My recent stay at Extended Stay America was nothing short of a disappointment. The moment I entered the lobby, I was immediately greeted by an overwhelming and unpleasant smell of marijuana. The lobby was astonishingly small, resembling a space of no more than 25 square feet. What was even more surprising was the complete absence of any seating options, making it an uncomfortable and impractical area for guests to gather or wait. My initial check-in experience was equally disheartening. I had to endure an extended waiting period because the front desk employee was inexplicably absent, locked in the restroom for a baffling 20 minutes. What compounded my dissatisfaction was the fact that no apology was offered for the substantial delay, which reflected poorly on the hotel's commitment to customer service. Regrettably, the problems did not end there. It seemed that some families had made the hotel their long-term residence, and their children were allowed to run around in the hallways and parking lot, causing significant disturbances and chaos. This was far from the peaceful and relaxing environment one expects from a hotel. Moreover, the issue of a marijuana smell was not limited to the lobby alone. It seemed that some guests were smoking in the bathrooms, and the smell came through the bathroom vent, making it difficult to escape the odor even in my room. This was not only unpleasant but also a major concern for the safety and well-being of all guests, especially those with respiratory issues. It was my mistake not to read reviews before booking this hotel. The issues that many people has been talking about, such as dirty smelly rooms, a noisy and unsafe environment, and the unprofessional and unfriendly staff at the front office, remain unaddressed. I doubt whether the hotel management, which has been responding to one-star reviews with promises of improvements for the past few months, has any real intention to fix these problems."
"Room smelled like Newports and Indian food. Key reader was broken. Couldn’t get in or out after I left. Dogs from inside the hotel barking all times of night. Kids running the hallways and being loud at 130 am. Not a good experience at all. I travel for work and usually look for the extended stays. But I left this one after 1 night."
"I should've read the reviews. People loitering everywhere, staring at me upon approach to check in, and on way out as I went to dinner. Overall feeling of unsafe environment. People living in hotel, kids playing in the elevator delaying calling, and when I waited for elevator tenants came to wait, banged on elevator door yelling "you kids her the hell out of the elevator". Sure enough the elevator came. Had i known this was the experience I would've stayed at a motel 6 and paid 40 or so less. Room was clean. Ac thermostat was broken and had to turn off because i was freezing. Couldn't adjust. I guess better than not working at all. Would never stay here again, as many are stating, but at least I didn't have unclean sheets and peev in the toilet. Lesson learned, read reviews."
"This is really an apartment building more than a hotel. There was a full kitchen, but no soap, shampoo, hair drier, or coffee maker. The window screen was torn. There was no lobby, breakfast, or night staffing. There were a lot of families with children living there, which can be fun, but it also means hallways & elevators where kind of littered. When I was there, the key card machine wasn't working, so the desk clerk had to personally let me into my room. In my opinion, the only reason to stay here as a hotel is the price."
