"Worst Place I have ever lived. The building is literally falling apart, maintenance is a joke. If you like $400 electric bills, fire alarms at 2 am, roaches from your neighbors, and walls so thin you can hear the neighbor fart; then west tech is for you. The staffing in the building is atrocious, it’s a huge building and I’ve only ever seen one cleaning person the entire time here. Maintenance couldn’t fix a set of blinds that are 30ft in the air because “we don’t have a ladder tall enough” Sada lies through her teeth, I could go on and on. Stay away. It’s dirty, drafty, smells gross and just not with it."
"I wish there was a 0 star option. Where to start…. Everything that management said from the instant we moved in was a lie. They were asked direct questions. If things could be removed. A ridiculous window preventing air flow between rooms. Assured it could. Called on day 2 of our residency, told no. Can’t be done. The walls are PAPER thin. The soundproofing they did is a joke. It did nothing. EXCEPT put 23 holes in our walls. Twenty three. In July. They covered the holes with spackle and left. Not painted. Just huge holes. I called every week. Asking when it was getting painted. Told next week every time. Finally called Sada’s boss. They fixed it 2 days before Christmas. Five months later. And Sada wants to have an attitude every time I called to ask why it was taking so long. There’s ridiculous notes everywhere with nonsense fines she arbitrarily makes up for infractions. There’s literally 2 functioning windows. It never had fresh air. Or sufficient AC. Or hot water. There was literally no way to circulate air because of the asinine window they lied about being able to remove. Closes the trash chutes instead of having maintenance keep them clear. There is literally not a trash can on property. Anywhere. It’s consistently dirty and littered with trash. When taking your own trash out, it’s literally a 5 minute walk one way. And if it’s the winter, the heat isn’t on in the hallways. It’s freezing cold. Because I’m sure it’s expensive to heat, considering our average electric bill was $300. For nearly two thousand dollars a month. It could be so great there, if their management wasn’t so woefully awful. Stay away. There’s much better for much less money."
"Great place to live & centrally located to everything in the city. Staff is amazing and friendly. Top tier maintenance crew will take care of all of your needs. Just recently installed new flooring and did a great job."
"I found these apartment by chance while on the search for a new home for my family and me. Initially I loved the apartments due to its proximity to the school across the street; having 2 school-aged children, that was a definite bonus. From the time I called to schedule my viewing of the apartment, to the application process up until my move in (and beyond), there was a ton of cooperation and guidance from the staff. I've only had friendly and personable interactions with the staff, and maintenance has always responded to requests promptly. Prior to moving in, everyone in the leasing office was up front and honest about what to expect. As residents we're empowered to report maintenance requests. In my limited time here, I have learned some things and hope to help others in their decision-making process. 1. This building is an old school, that means there will be a LOT of walking. Many stairs and long hallways. 2. There will be times when laundry machinery or other things break/malfunction. You're sharing a space with dozens of other families/people so it's bound to happen. Be prompt in addressing the issue so the proper people can be notified in fixing the issue. 3. Keep the lines of communication open. Problems can't be solved if no one knows they exist. As with other apartment complexes, there are minor issues here and there but nothing worth stressing out over. So far our experience has been great and I'm already excited to renew our lease!"
"CAUTION: DO NOT MOVE HERE! If I Could Rate This Apartment In The Negatives I Absolutely Would. One Of The Worst Places I Have Ever Lived. Please See Photos Attached! - Management Is VERY Selective/Discriminates! Asked Several Times To Move Into One Of The Larger More Spacious Apartments That We Kept Hearing About And Constantly Got The Run Around. Meanwhile Hearing From Several Friends/Neighbors That They Were Moved Into Larger Suites WITHOUT Having To Wait The Mandated Time! When Touring New Apartments I Came Across A Former Employee Who Strongly Expressed One Of The Reasons He Left Is Because He Witnessed Sada Davis Be Extremely Selective About Who She Allows To Live Where. - Windows: ONLY One Window In The Entire Apartment Opened And Had NO Screen Window. When Asked If There Could Be One Installed, They Said We Would Have To Buy It Ourselves. Imagine Hot Summer Days Without Being Able To Open The Window!! - Do You Like Long Hot Showers? Too Bad. Water Pressure Is Terrible And Only Stays Warm For 20 Mins Tops. Oh, And Also You Have To Pay For It. - FIRE ALARMS. Would Go Off For HOURS At A Time Unexpectedly. (Imagine Dealing With This Working From Home) - They Will Email You 1,000 Times About Nonsense Or Their “Pay Flex” Program But When Something Important Occurs In The Building - Such As The Washers Being Cut, They Have To Be Hassled To Forward A Simple Convenient Email. - Parking Is Absolutely Terrible. - Photos Below: Started Collecting Evidence A Very Long Time Ago. This Complex Is Dirty, Something Is Always Broken (That Side Entrance Door Of The Building Has Continued To Have Problems) Car Break In’s - Which Is “Not Their Problem” To Put It Simply. This Complex Is Simply For The Aesthetic Of Turning An Old School Into Apartment. Most Of The Complex Isn't Even Updated / Barely Remodeled. Please, Save Yourself."
