"Working with Ohio Property Group was a great experience. I paid approximately $700 for my listing (including expediting postings of my listing and new photos). For anyone who routinely uses computers, filling out the listing forms and uploading photos should be fairly simple. If you have questions, the staff usually responds the same day, but never later than the next day. Once I received offers, Glen took over and handled all the negotiations. Although I'm a lawyer who has been involved in negotiating settlements, selling a house is a different animal, and it was great to be able to turn the process over to Glen, who got the buyers to where I needed them to be. By using Ohio Property Group, I saved over $14,000 in commissions. And I doubt if I did more than 15 hours worth of work in listing and showing the house. So, from my perspective, it was a great deal. Note: The staff prefers to communicate by text and e-mail. I paid Ohio Property Group two fees: (1) a listing fee for the MLS listing and negotiating the contract with the buyers; and (2) an optional closing fee for dealing with post-contract issues like the inspection and appraisal. The total was around $1,300. I feel that I received good value for that minimal investment. While my house was listed with Ohio Property Group, a "million-dollar realtor" from one of the largest brokers in the state approached me about listing my house. She said that my listing price was too high, that I should cut it to $429,000, and that I should hire her. The house ultimately sold for $443,000. So if I had hired that "expert" full-service realtor, I would have lost about $30,000."
