"This is a comfortable hotel. Although it is small,there is a kitchen so you can cook simple meals and it is fully equipped with an oven. The room is large and luxurious."
"Dated Marriott location that has done its best to remodel and remain a viable property. The breakfast offering was on par with newer locations and brands; along with the staff, this was the highlight of the stay. Smiles and willingness to help came from the night staff and the morning breakfast team members. Disappointed with the shower but was relieved that the handle was loose enough to wiggle over the safety temperature limit stop which allowed me to take a shower that was hot and not just mildly lukewarm. Proximity to Tiffin University was our primary reason for staying here. Would be nice to see a Marriott location in Tiffin. We would stay here again based on value and location."
"The room was ok, but as other guests have mentioned there's a smell all throughout the hallways and in the room. The worst was the terrible attitude of the woman at the front desk. We had booked online and indicated that we had a cat so we were charged the pet fee and paid the full amount (incl. taxes) online. When we checked-in, we were first told we had to pay another pet fee on top of what we paid. After explaining we already paid it online, she then said we still owe the tax on the fee. After she couldn't really explain why there's some additional tax that wasn't already included in the online payment, she became very sarcastic and told us that if we really wanted our $10 back then she'll refund us. After she processed the refund she told again, very sarcastically, that she had a wonderful time helping us out with our issue. This woman has no business being in the hospitality industry, much less any customer-facing position."
"The room is nice, and feels like an apartment. One of our TVs didn’t work and the internet is slow. Major downside of the hotel is the staff. For instance, was bringing up food for my husband for breakfast, and the attendant made side comments which made me feel really uncomfortable. The front desk ladies I encountered also acted like I was an inconvenience."
