"Though I appreciate Ms. Pamela Pardon's holistic approach to mental health and adore her receptionist, this was, by far, the worst experience I have had with a counselor. Not only does Pamela Pardon talk about her own life decisions/choices and conversations with other patients (though she does not name them) in your session, she also has no structured appointment times. She constantly goes past the designated end time which is difficult for those who do not have flexible schedules and often affects all patients after that appointment. Now imagine half of that time in the appointment not focused on what you're there for or being irrelevant to your issues. So not only does it run late, you don't even talk about the things you need to talk about for half the appointment. Additionally, she was on her phone during one of my telehealth sessions while I was talking (I could see the reflection of her looking at her phone via her glasses). This was infuriating as there was no reason for her to be on it. She wasn't looking something up on my behalf and there was no pause in our comversation. When I had an issue with my billing (due to insurance), she offered to resubmit the bill with a different diagnosis code. I contacted her a little less than 3 weeks before the payment due date, followed up with her quite a few times, and she never communicated with me until 2 days (Friday) before the due date (Sunday). She changed her story a bit, deflected all responsibility/accountability for not resubmitting, gaslit me, and did not apologize even once. I cannot recommend enough that you see someone else besides Ms. Pardon."
