"I spent 9 days in hell here...i coded twice Dr there insane took me off xannax i had been on 1mg 3 tines a day for over 20 years.Would not take an animal here or a person...does not even rate 1 star. But have to give it 1 to post..."

"i'm taking the time to write today to say that i had a recent stay at this facility for undisclosed reasons.. i enjoyed the roommate i had. there was also a lot of peer to peer support. the most thing i didn't like about the place was the need to ask for a shower. most facilities have them in their rooms for people who like to isolate themselves & recharge. the food was also not the greatest but not the worst. if you're a family chef like, me you can always doctor it up & you'll be sure to be back at a therapeutic level with a quickness. a lot of people seem to create bad stigmas and reviews from mental facilities but i find it's only because they don't fully understand the reason why they're there. sometimes it can be hard to ask for help & maybe you need it. just go to your happy place. breathe in 5 seconds, & breathe out. amen."

"Assaulted by another patient in the facility. The staff did nothing but send him to his room and switch me to another unit (the one I should have been to in the first place). If I didn't call the police on the other patient to press charges they would have done nothing. They should have put him in seclusion but instead put him in his room with his roommate. The patient later hit a female worker and a trial is being held tomorrow. Dr. Ike discontinued a medication that was helping manage some of my symptoms and explicitly said it was not helping me. After signing a release at intake for them to work with my counselor, psychiatrist and father, none of them where contacted. There was supposed to be 4-5 groups a day and in a 10 day stay only 8 where held. Two of them being coloring and one playing UNO. The food was not good and the portions were small, many patients had to ask for more food. Overall, avoid this place."

"I cannot believe this place hasn’t been shut down. Fight for your rights and your loved ones and get them out of this place! It appears nice at intake and in the entrance, but the patient area is horrible. There were bugs in our loved ones bed, we could never get through when we called, the staff would hang up on us. They have very limited visitation which is against patient rights. The food was worse than a prison. ClearVista - do not respond to this review either - you had plenty of time to fix the situation while our loved one was at your facility and you did NOTHING and you responding to a review means nothing. It’s a disgrace. Also, this was someone transferred from Akron General hospital as well - which makes no sense to go from Akron to Lorain - seems like something is off with that. And it had nothing to do with open beds because we found open beds at other facilities."
