"Service here is outstanding. We were lucky enough to be greeted by Jonah when we arrived and as we departed. He made our valet, check in / check out experience very smooth in a busy downtown area. We felt very taken care of from valet, to the front desk, all the way through breakfast. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful."

"The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly, courteous and kind. We had to book here through an event plan. The hotel breakfast, which is included, was disgusting! The coffee was undrinkable. The eggs were cold and just horrible. The yogurt was gritty and unpleasant. The potatoes were rock hard. We originally booked a studio, which has a king bed and a full pull out sofa. When we arrived, we were told they upgraded us to a studio, which is basically the same room but with a wall in-between the sofa and king bed. The room they gave us only had one king bed. We are four people! I had asked at the front desk if the "upgraded " room would still accommodate 4 people, and was told yes! The front desk did change our room. The rooms are very awkward. The only bathroom is in the room with the king bed. It is so small, you cant even change your mind in it! On the wall of the shower there was black curly hair, and what looked like crusted oatmeal. There is no closet except where the king bed is. We were generously provided with 1 spoon for the kitchen. There was absolutely no bed linens or pillows provided for the pull out sofa. We had to request them. We got bed linens, but no pillows. After being there 1 night, and using towels, etc, there was no house keeping done when we returned from our event. No clean towels, no garbage emptied, nothing! On top of all of this, they had the audacity to charge $47 for valet parking not including any tip. You had to request your car on the app every time you needed to go anywhere. And were ecpected to tip! We used this for 1 night before we got wise and changed the location of our car, and only paid $20! I expected a lot more for my money and what they charged per night being a Marriott hotel. Being one of the recognized leaders in the industry, I am so disappointed and am very hesitant to even recommend any Marriott hotel."

"This hotel is in a great location and definitely has the potential to be better. When I got back to my room after a long day, I realized the sheets had not been washed. There were hairs in the bed, and dried, crusty stains all over the sheets, which to me looked like dried up blood and snot. When I told the front desk, she was less than helpful. She had some sort of loud video playing and didn’t even bother to pause it, so it was hard to explain the situation or hear her. She also didn’t offer any sort of apology for the inconvenience and when I came down a second time to change rooms she didn’t speak to me, she just stuck out her hand for my key card. The interaction made me feel like a burden for not wanting to sleep on dirty sheets. I’m usually not the type to complain or write bad reviews, but for the price I paid I expect better service, and a clean room. It was obvious that the rest of the hotel had not been cleaned in awhile. Also, the price of parking is a scam. There are many other garages nearby for half the price. The other workers that helped me were nice, and the rooms are spacious."

"Room was tired, needs a renovation. Housekeeping needs to do better, though I wonder if maybe it’s the management that needs to do better, as there was cheese from a previous guest in my fridge, one of the couch pillows was behind the couch instead of on the couch, carpet(in a high traffic area) was horribly worn. Door handle on shower door was horribly loose. Breakfast was as expected at least. Location was great, too bad that’s the best thing going for this place."

"Overall, it was a great experience! The front desk staff was great. They were able to get me in sooner than the 4PM check-in time, which was wonderful. The room was clean and cozy and my only real issue with the room was that the kitchen in the room was missing a couple key items like a can opener, lids to the pots and pans, and most of the silverware but other than that no issues with the room. The breakfast options were decent, but there was nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, they were out of waffle mix due to supplier issues, or so we were told. The fruit could be a bit fresher and more diverse. My biggest issue was the lady working the breakfast area. She was very snippy, to say the least, and tended to make several rude remarks about guests behind there backs to other employees. Mostly complaining that people kept asking her about the waffle situation. You could definitely tell by her attitude that she did not want to be there and absolutely hated her job. It's unfortunate as she is a main part of the guest experience. The location and all other staff were wonderful and I would absolutely stay again."
