"The room as fair, not good or even great. The beds were awful and NOISY. The first bed was unbearable, the room they switched us into was not good but better than the first. If you want coffee in the morning you have to get dressed and go to the lobby. The shower paint was cracked and peeling and the spray soaked the bathroom. Just poor design/shower head choice. The refrigerator froze everything. The windows are old and drafty and do not keep out any street noise. The restaurant service was bad and the food was just ok. Definitely won’t stay again and certainly not worth the price. Location, however, is excellent."

"I would not recommend this hotel. Especially if you are a female traveler. The valet was amazing quick and responsive when we needed our vehicle. However, after returning from dinner around 730 pm we got to our room and a man supposedly an employee was coming out of our washroom. He mumbled he was "just checking on things" and then left. He then knocked on our door and told us "we should have had the DND sign on our door". To note, the room we had did not have a deadbolt for added safety, and we had already checked in around 1pm that day. Also, after he left we checked our room and our belongings, and there were NO new towels or soaps or tissues no sheets turned down to explain what he was "just checking on" (which we never requested anything". This made us as 2 females travelling extremely uneasy and nervous so we checked out right away. The excuse given was he was a "new" employee."

"To start off, the valet service was awesome! They were right on top of it with getting our bag and helping us out. The same service when we left. 10 out of 10 for them. The lobby was beautiful, and the fireplace was relaxing. It was a 5 minute walk to Playhouse Square. The room was modern looking, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge with his and her sink areas, and the shower divided them. The only complaint is.... no vent in the bathroom, and the steam from the shower fogs up everything and has caused peeling paint in the shower."

"Booked a 1 bedroom suite while in town for the Thursday night Browns game with my 14 and 10 year old kids. The room had plenty of space for us all. My daughter stayed on the memory foam pull out couch and my son and I had the king sized bed. The bathroom was great with the oversized walk-in shower and double vanities. The valet was quick and efficient and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming! They even were able to get a Browns flag on the wall to celebrate them making it into the playoffs. I thought the place was clean and well appointed. I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. I will definitely be staying on future trips to CLE for Browns games!"

"We stayed 12/23 with a prepaid reservation through a third party. With these reservations the guest pays the third party and the hotel charges a digital credit card provided by the third party booking website. The guest provides a credit card for incidentals. Unfortunately when they swiped my card for incidentals, they overrode the card from the booking site that should have been charged and then charged my card so I've now been charged twice. In the morning I realized what happened because I got a notification from my bank of an authorization of almost $300, which is much more than it should have been for incidentals. When I went down in the morning to sort it out with the front desk staff, the lady working was argumentative and rude instead of being helpful. She just kept repeating "on my end I only have this card" but yes, you only have that card because they messed up and deleted the previous one. She finally said she would leave the room checked in until the manager could fix it and they wouldn't charge my card. Later that day I got an email with a receipt - they charged my card anyways. I worked front desk in hotels for almost 10 years. Hotels have been handling these third party reservations the same way for 10+ years. This shouldn't still be happening and if it does, you should take responsibility and fix it. Now I have to waste my time calling my credit card company and the booking agent because the hotel double charged my credit card on Christmas Eve. As for the hotel, it's very underwhelming. It's advertised as boutique but there is nothing boutique about it. The rooms are small and very basic. It was pretty clean but there was a dirty q-tip on our bathroom floor. The only good things are the location and the bathroom is pretty large. Otherwise, the heat was very loud and didn't work very well. When we got into the room it was set to 76 and said it was 74 but it was cold (at home we keep it at 66 so we prefer it to be on the colder side but it was colder than that). There is a lot of street noise of you're facing E 6th Street. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the quality is what you would expect from Denny's. There are many much better places to stay in the area."
