About the Business
University Settlement is a nonprofit organization located at 4800 Broadway Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 1926, we have been dedicated to providing essential social services to the residents of the Broadway Slavic Village neighborhood. Our mission is to empower individuals and families by offering resources that support their learning, growth, and overall well-being.
We are proud to be the leading social services provider in the area and are committed to helping our community thrive. Recently, we have launched the capital campaign, Broadway Rising, which aims to provide a new home for our agency and programs. Additionally, The NRP Group will be constructing a new building on Broadway Avenue to further support our efforts.

"It's been a year, but I needed food to get me by. Grace oversees the food Bank and has that place running smooth. Everyone who volunteers or works there is kind. When I went through the line and had my food, one woman politely asked if she could help me carry my bags to the car. She did! I thought she was helpful. The one gentleman went to the back to grab more bread so there would be a variety to choose from. He was thoughtful even at the end of their shift."
