Fifteen Fifty Brickell Apartments

"I lived at 1550 Brickell for a yr. When I first went to look at the units I was shown the model of a 1-1 but I was unable to see the actual apartment I’d get until my actual move in date. My apartment was in poor shape. Kitchen cabinetry peeling, dated appliances, cheap carpet, old bathroom fixtures. Only positive notes at the time were the location close to where I work and the rent I could afford. Aside from the issues that characterise most units at this property a special mention goes to the two women who sit in the management office - supposedly to help tenants and manage the property but in reality doing nothing of the above and creating an unpleasant atmosphere. The only other positive feature of this property worth mentioning, because in sharp contrast with the rest, is the Maintenance team - firstly and foremost Max who does his job conscientiously and is always pleasant and very helpful. *PROS of living at 1550 Brickell: location *CONS of living at 1550 Brickell: poor overall quality of the property, outdated fixtures and appliances in the units, lack of a customer oriented management team"

"I did a tour in the units, for a friend that is relocating, this option is really good for the price and the location is great. The apartments even that is an old construction building, the apartments are remodeled, updated, stainless steal appliances, washer and dryer inside, quite and clean. If you are looking at Brickell you should consider it. I have a couple friends that are living in and they are happy."

"Unprofessional office staff. Malfunctioning elevators. Toilets backed up regularly. Leaking roof and windows during heavy rainfall caused our carpets, furniture and closet to get wet. Moving in and out was a hassle and horrible experience. The location is great but the rent is simply not worth it! Try elsewhere."

"This is my first google review, because I have never bothered. However, after 1.5 years living in this condo taking disrespectful treatment from Iso in the front desk office I felt compelled to alert other potential tenants. Trust all the reviews below. Yes, the building is sub par in terms of amenities, modern features and definitely extremely poor customer service with the exception of the maintenance staff (will say more later). Great location. We moved because we were offered a first floor unit with a front yard 2 months after our planned move in date; a year later we still did not get a front yard unit and they had “forgotten” we were first in line for this unit because of our service dog. We only managed to get one because I reminded the office of a vacant unit they had forgotten about. Since then, a cascade of issues came up with the unit, from the first day it was given to us to begin our second year lease at the building. We decided to stay because our first lease came up during the height of the pandemic and needed to minimize the uncertainties; not because we were happy with the building and sadly we have paid the price. The only two positive things about this building are its location and its maintenance staff. Jose and Max go above and beyond in their duties, regardless of the volume of work that a poorly maintained property causes to these two incredibly friendly, always positive and helpful humans. My most sincere thank you to the two of them."

"Bad experience overall. Too restrictive operating hours, opportunist and not nice property management. Also the quality of the premises is very improvable--horrible taste of the flooring of the common areas, living room and kitchens, bathrooms are made for midgets (tiny WC and very low washroom area) and very low quality of the cabinets. The only positive things about the apartments are the ground level and easy accesible parking spots and the great location. Definitely a bad decision from my side. I don't recommend at all. There are much better options at the same rent price."
