Tropical Sands Accommodations

"Last week I vacationed in Siesta Keys. I booked 704S Crescent Arms. Once I arrived I was not pleased with the building as it was a little run down and old. I called Tropical Sands and told them my concerns. Within 7 hrs I was given other options in places to stay, I pick out one of those options and was in another rental property. Everyone we spoke to was kind, considerate of my concerns and did every yo make us more comfortable and happy with our stay. They were all amazing! We had an awesome time in our new place Chasing Channels ! Thank you for making our first trip to Siesta Keys so relaxing !!!"

"We just stayed in 534 Avanti Villa this past week and it was a nightmare. When we arrived we had no power in the downstairs area. The breaker had tripped because the downstairs “bedroom” that used to be a sunroom had no central air. They had placed a portable A/C unit in the room and the room was not properly wired to accommodate the amperes so the power kept tripping off in the room. We had 3 maintenance people look at the room and took about 2days of our vacation dealing with the electrical issue. The downstairs “bedroom” we found out was previously a sunroom. It had no business being marketed as a bedroom. The temperature stayed approx 80 degrees the whole time we were there and the maintenance guy said the whole downstairs needs to be rewired. Shawn was the manager and he was Not helpful at all. The only “solution” was to move us to a house 7 miles away to a house that didn’t have enough beds for our family and had NO access to the beach. The whole experience was MISERABLE and the worst part was that Shawn, the manager, asked me “if I wanted a hot house or a house that was not hot”? (Even though it would not accommodate our family) That was the only solution with No comp for ALL of our trouble. He was extremely rude and unwilling to provide any solution when the house was CLEARLY a safety hazard and was marketed incorrectly. I would NEVER EVER USE TROPICAL SANDS AGAIN!! The owners of the house also said they wouldn’t do anything to help us because there “had not been enough negative complaints or reviews”-per Shawn. I have no respect for people who advertise incorrectly to take your money and then have no ownership for the safety issues in the property!! Don’t let them ruin your vacation like they ruined ours ! I have attached pictures of the way maintenance “fixed” the problem"
