"Had dinner at The Reserve Retreat. Jessica was very knowledgeable and helpful with picking out a fabulous bottle of wine and Sara was a fabulous server. We had a wonderful dinner. The crab bisque was to “die for” loaded with crab and topped with sherry. The Ringling Salad was excellent. Pork chop was outstanding as well as the chicken Marsala. Finished with their Key Lime Pie. So glad we had dinner there and if in Sarasota will definitely be back!"
"We went in for a wine tasting, got caught in traffic and were 45 minutes late, after multiple apologies they were nothing but accommodating, sweet, and quick with service. Food was beyond fantastic and the wine was so good they got my fiancé to like a red! Overall amazing experience and so glad I went."
"Little gem of a restaurant. The chef knows what he's doing. Excellent dinners in a unique setting, the original John Ringling house. The breakfasts are even better with one of the best eggs Benedict in town. Bottomless bloodies are the perfect companion for a great brunch."
"Before we went to the Sarasota airport for our flight back to Atlanta, I asked google to find a close restaurant that serves brunch. Google said we should go to the Reserve Retreat restaurant and motel. What a fabulous place. The hostess and server Tatiana (Tati), was great. The menu was amazing. The bottomless Bloody Mary’s were perfect and the brunch was super. We will definitely come back to The Reserve Retreat again."
"I took my daughter and her friends to the Reserve Retreat for dinner and we had a fantastic time. We were seated in our own little room off from the main dining area and it was perfectly quaint with a jazz band playing outside the window (they are there the first Friday of each month I believe). The bruschetta was delicious as were all of our dinners - shrimp and pasta, Ringling salad, and even the burger with the beautifully whipped mashed potatoes. The cheesecake and coffees were a perfect way to end the evening. I definitely will be back to the reserve retreat and recommend this for a very gourmet low key dinner. I hope to stay at the inn another time."
