"Update! Nice of them to give a reply yet when you call or email them they don’t answer. Doesn’t surprise me though it should! The reason I gave this property a one is because on Sunday morning they have their lawn service waking people up at 8 o’clock in the morning. As of this writing it’s been an hour and I can still hear the blower. Nice property but never stay here on a Saturday night if you want some rest. call the front desk when I first heard it and they said yes they come out every Sunday morning. Owner needs to get involved, not staying here again on a Saturday night. Nice update, go out to my car and find its covered with sand and debris. Kompose right across the street seems peaceful."

"They outsource their reservations so when I called to make a reservation (had to call because it was a special rate) I had a long call with one representative who said she was booking me for 2 queen rooms. I had 2 dates that were separated by a few days so she made this reservation and then said she sent it to me. I waited for an email I never got. While waiting for that she was making a second reservation but then said she had to ask her manager something, put me on hold and I ended up at the hotel front desk, which had really horrible phone reception and couldn't transfer me back. Then I called back, got a new person, it took him 30 minutes to find my reservation. When he finally sent it to me (she had gotten my email wrong of course) it was wrong. She had booked me 2 queen rooms and instead they were 1 king rooms. Then he said they didn't have 2 queen rooms. So after an hour of my life, I still had no rooms and have to find another hotel. Thanks for taking an hour from me when I'm extremely busy, and giving me nothing in return. Maybe the few cents you saved by outsourcing your call center would be better spent making people like your hotel and not making them so mad they will never stay there as long as they live."

"Rooms smelled and felt like they needed to be upgraded. Dingy looking and uncomfortable mattress. Woke up with a bad backache. Charging phone usb's were not working properly and should be replaced so ipad and cell phones charge properly. They left a tiny bar of soap and sink faucet was loose. Air conditioning wasn't cooling room very well either. Just not a type of hotel that should be operating in this day and age. Even the bed made all kinds of noises when moving at night. Also room was pitch dark at night without any light at all. I went to store next day to purchase 2 night lights to at least see where I'm going when waking up to use bathroom at night. I rarely complain about things but this place really got me annoyed on everything for the last 3 night we spent here. I wouldn't Ever stay here again. And if they read this complaint and try to offer something it still wouldn't make it right because they shouldn't be putting guests in rooms like this in the first place PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!"

"BEWARE OF BED BUGS! I’ve stayed at this location many times with no issues. Woke up this morning with bites all over my arms and legs. I notice small smears of blood on the sheets and then noticed a few bugs crawling around. Looked it up, and they’re bedbugs. Update: over two weeks have gone by and it seems this issue has been ignored by the hotel management. We’ve left several voicemails with the manager and still no response. She advised that the hotel would be conducting an “investigation” the day the bedbugs were discovered. It’s been over 2 weeks, how much more investigating can be done? I had to throw away my clothes and suitcase in fear of bringing them into my house. No apology, nothing. Just flat out rude and unacceptable."

"This is a great Hilton property! Although it’s adjacent to the airport, the area is nice and safe. The front staff was top notch- professional, cheery and helpful! My room was very comfortable and immaculately cleaned. I know a lot of hotel noise depends on the guests, but this is one of the quietest hotels where I’ve stayed. The clientele was nice and if you’re a woman traveling alone, that’s important. Although the family member I was visiting lives in south Sarasota, it was absolutely worth the driving back and forth to stay at the this Hampton Inn. *There weren’t any restaurants within walking distance that I saw, but I understand the hotel does provide transportation. I had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue."
