Saratoga Place at Palmer Ranch

"Let me start with this, there have been three property managers in 10 months since we moved in here, they have done nothing about the noise complaints from the loud music to the upstairs neighbors that wake us up at 6:00 AM. Every month you get an extra bill, tacked onto your rent for no less than $176 a month where they charge you for HOA fee, sewer and electric. The pool is extremely dirty and not maintained. You get zero response for any concerns. Your packages that are delivered to a room in the back with no cameras so many are stolen and they do not take any responsibility for that. Since moving here all but two residents in our building have moved out due to the high rates - they raise your rent after one year, be very cautious they will raise your rent at least $150 the next year. I'm very easy-going and for me to post a review is very rare, but I feel as though others need to be warned about this property. They will enter your unit with very little notice. By law it is 24 hour notice, but they don't even give you that. Please please be very cautious when renting here"

"My unit was not cleaned or even finished with repairs upon my scheduled move- in time. My kitchen sink had a rotten smell coming from the disposal. Maintenance told me it was the water, after I put in a couple requests for repairs, and the issue was ignored until I showed up in the front office. The AC unit was leaking onto the walls upon my move-in, and still does not work properly. The building that I live in is loud at all hours of the day. I've called to file noise complaints and the phone at the front has only been answered one time since I've lived here. I've had a package stolen from my front door. The gates have been broken for most of my lease. I pay a $25 trash fee for a trash area that is rarely useable because it's filled with trash. My rent total has been different each month due to HOA Fees. Overall, this has been my worst experience renting."

"We lived here for a year. The place was absolutely filthy when we moved in, basically every inch of it.It took us nearly a month of deep cleaning to make it livable. Not only that but it's extremely old, like very very old. They don't replace anything unless you complain even when it's broken. We had appliances fail on us basically every month, including our hvac and water heater. We left the place spotless clean once we moved out but were still charged a "cleaning fee" along other fees. We basically didn't get our deposit back. On top of being an already completely overpriced place they had the audacity to steal our deposit. Shady business would avoid at all costs."

"I lived here three years and there were a lot of ups and downs. My rent went up exorbitantly each year, but I feel like I can’t really complain about that with the state of the market. I was paying $1297 when I moved in, and $1797 when I moved out three years later. I lived in a 2/1 and overall enjoyed my apartment. The kitchen was renovated and felt modern. The bathroom was not renovated, and though I was told that my sink with a rust hole in it would be replaced, it never was in three years. I was also told my coil stove would be replaced with a glass top, but that never happened either. “Gated” community is a very loose term because the one of the gates was probably broken 50% of the time. Maintenance always came but usually took a while. My biggest problem with this complex is the trash situation. There’s a $25 monthly fee for the trash that you have to bring yourself to the one compactor on property. The area was always filthy, and the compactor was full often and wasn’t usable. The recycling bins were always overflowing. Even when nothing was full, raccoons and other wildlife were rampant around the compactor. The new complex I moved to also charges a $25 fee, but the trash it picked up from my apartment 5 times a week and the dumpsters are emptied regularly. The staff in the office was always nice. The clubhouse was always clean and inviting. I never had any problems with the package room or receiving my mail. I really enjoyed the pool. It used to get dirty quite often but that problem seemed to have been resolved. Overall my time here was enjoyable. I just couldn’t justify signing another lease here with other, nicer options in the area for a similar price."

"We just moved here 3 weeks ago. We love our apartment on the lake. All the neighbors are friendly. Vicki was so helpful from the beginning. All the girls in the office are very nice.. Nick does a great job at fixing everything in a timely manner. I can’t wait to get settled and start using th spool and gym."
