Deerwood Village Apartments

"Disgusting place to live. All they care about is money. They have termites roaming the buildings, and won’t do anything about it. They have awful people in their office. Tammy is just an absolute nightmare, never calls back, never returns messages, emails. Nothing, even when it’s urgent. A/C is always broken. So, my light bill was over $800 a month, and I got told by Tammy “It goes up in the summer” Not $800 more. Black mold growing on the walls, but still expected to pay $1,900 rent when they REFUSE to come and fix this issues. Do not move here."

"I had an appointment to see a one bedroom apartment before the special deals was over. After waiting one hour, which was worth every minute, I got spoiled with Ms. Tammy, who was just as friendly and helpful, on a tour with my family and my friend's family, at the last minute. Caitlin was not there today, who was kind, generous, and heartwarming to talk to and through email for weeks. I would have taken the apartment instantly, but didn't have one of necessary qualifications, 3x the income yet, being a single parent with a child just about done with high school was a challenge. This was not a total waste of time. The property was neat, clean, smile after smile received and the entire staff was willing to extend themselves as much as they could. So I understand that. A change of hands seems to have worked, so great job to Caitlin and Tammy and the entire Deerwood apartments. Blessings!"

"DO NOT MOVE HERE. Only move here if you want high rent, maintenance that doesn't fix things, front office that doesn't pick up your phone calls, amenities that never work, Pest control that lies about spraying, and management with a HIGH turnover. Dog poop bins were always overflowing, Gym A/C never worked, had to workout in 85 degrees all year round, and the POOL was CLOSED this ENTIRE past SUMMER. Please see photos I've attached. I beg you please save your money"

"3 years ago I would have given this complex 5 stars. They went through a management change which brought the standards drastically down. The landscaping is dreadful, the pool is not well maintained at all ( I was in the pool picking out garbage) the only thing that has gone up is the rent. I decided to exit and the assistant gave me a written quote (which I still have) the manager unapologetically told me that she had made a mistake and that I owed over $200 more than the assistant had quoted. (which by the way makes more mistakes than a bull in a China shop) regardless I left the apartment spotless , gave my last payment as quoted the the representative of that complex ( assistant) Pictures to follow ; shrubs not maintained, that sand box is suppose to be a pond, mailboxes growing mold, paint peeling on doors, holes on dog stations, the glass wall in the gym is so filthy that you can't see out of it , etc attention to detail is NOT a priority!"

"I can't say enough amazing things about Deerwood! I moved to these beautiful apartments in 2018 and have not left! The apartments are beautiful. They have an amazing pool, paths to walk around on and explore, and even a dog park. The employees here have exceeded my expectations by far. From the day I toured to today, they have shown me love, care and concern, whether I was struggling during tough times or doing great! They have always gone above and beyond for me. My family lives out of state, so having that love is a big deal to me. When I say they will go above and beyond I really mean it...I even locked myself out of my apartment the morning of Christmas Eve, and one of Deerwood's maintenance employees drove out at 6:30 AM to open it for me. I feel so lucky to have chosen such an amazing place to live! I knew I had a good feeling about it here and I was right!!!"
