"We have stayed at Beachside Towers II for the past 3 years and had great experiences. This year we were told a week before our trip that the condo we had rented sustained smoke damage and that we could get a refund or they could move us elsewhere. If we chose to move our rental, we would be required to pay the difference in cost. We agreed to be moved. They moved us to Emerald Waters, which is across the street from the beach unlike Beachside Towers II which is one the beach. We were also told that we could not use our tent due to HOA rules and that we would have to pay $150 for an umbrella if we wanted to use something or buy our own. Beachside Towers II allows the use of 10x10 tents. Ultimately, EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed."

"This review is for Beachside tower One - 4021. The unit is very clean and comfortable. The unit has two bedrooms (one king and one queen). It also has a pull-out couch which was very comfortable. The unit has plenty of cooking utensils and pots, and pans. There are no condiments. So bring everything if you plan to cook. There is no beach towel. It has an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico. The view from the master bedroom. The unit can be booked through a private managmt company, Breathe Easy Rental, not directly with the Sandestin resort. You can save the VRBO service fee (about 10%) if you book it directly with the manaent company. I found out after booked it with VRBO."

"DO NOT STAY IN SANDESTIN BEACHSIDE TOWERS II! My wife and I reserved a room for 4 days, but relocated to the Sandestin Effie Hotel which was FABULOUS! I am a retired disabled military veteran and I am a principled person. Our room in the Beachside Towers was stuffy, had a stale smell, and was very outdated. Moreover, our shower did not work and the hot water ran out. To make matters worse, our toilet stopped up and overflowed onto the floor. We notified the front desk and later that day they moved us to another room. When we tried to enter the room, the door was locked from the inside. That’s when we decided to move to another hotel. When we checked out, the staff stated that their system was down and she was unable to provide me a copy of my receipt. Once I returned home, I checked my email and had received a copy. To my surprise, I was CHARGED $75 FOR A DEPARTURE CLEANING FEE; $40 FOR A RESORT FEE; AND $1 FOR A KID’S FEE. ON TOP OF MY REGULAR BILL! DO NOT STAY HERE!"

"I do NOT recommend you stay here. There are a ton of other options so just look elsewhere. The pool is nice, and that is really the only nice thing about this building. Its extremely outdated, and you can’t access the beach until 8a. We all woke up early and had to drive to public beach access to get to the beach to walk early morning. Very annoying. Also, the ice machine was broken. The security guard Gabrielle was extremely rude to my sisters, mom, and me. Unfortunately, we picked a weekend where the seaweed was terrible and a storm was rolling in. We set up our chairs on the water around 830a, and by 1030a, we had moved back 3-4ft from the seaweed buildup. The security guard came up to us and immediately started making demands that we move behind the paid beach chairs. We were confused as there was no sign posted stating we had to sit behind the paid beach chairs. It says no tents or canopies, but it does not say anything about beach chairs. We were minding our own business, making the most of the ungroomed, seaweed beach, and he came in so aggressive to us, demanding we move or else. We asked him to calm down and he was very hostile. Nothing like I have ever encountered with a stranger, much less when I am on vacation. The guys needs to be fired. Also, if this is an issue, then they need to put up a sign stating that the paid beach chairs get priority over those who bring their own. It’s unreal how we were treated for doing nothing wrong. Of course, I pushed back on his demands and he just became more and more hostile. 10/10 would not recommend him as a friend or employee. Do not stay here. Either go to 30a or go to Orange Beach in Alabama. Those are way better."

"Their maintenance team does not exist and the ladies on the phone who are there to "help" are extremely rude and have no number to reach their manager. We cannot access our room due to the door being broken and we have spoken to 4 different people and we still cannot access our room. DO NOT STAY HERE. Extremely rude staff."
