"I only stayed one night to be close to the airport. Andrew handled my check in and check out. He was AMAZING. So friendly and courteous… The room was small but fine for just me. I’m picky when it comes to hotels but I will definitely stay again. Room was clean, breakfast was edible with plenty of options. There was coffee, tea, and filtered water all day. I was pleasantly surprised."

"This was my first time staying at an Avid Hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is absolutely excellent, super polite and helpful. The rooms were a bit small for a standard king but we didn't mind due to it only being a one night stay. Breakfast was a grab and go concept as described on the booking website. They had an assortment of cereals, greek yogurt, some fresh fruit options, jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Overall, great stay and very close to the FLL Airport."

"The people that worked at the hotel absolutely 5 stars!!! HOWEVER, the shower specifically was not very clean. I stayed here for 8 days & every time the cleaning crew would come up to “clean the room” they would only sweep the floors, the bathroom had many stains and the shower curtains had mold in it. Like I said, the people that worked at Avid were VERY kind & cordial, coffee was always available as well as tea on the first floor, ice as well, but because of the cleaning service of the place I cannot give it 5 stars."

"We stayed here for one night before a Cruise. The hotel itself was clean and well kept. The room was small, but was comfortable and all we needed for a night. Breakfast was good, but was pretty picked over in the last hour. The issue we had was with airport transportation. The transportation is Uber rather than a shuttle. You have to call the hotel to arrange (as described). Due to heavy traffic and an incident at the airport the drivers kept canceling. They were unable to get us transportation after more than an hour, and we eventually had to get our own transportation. Overall we would stay again, but not during heavy travel times."

"A lot to like about this hotel. Clean, good staff kind enough to let me have a later checkout needed for work reasons, good rooms, breakfast, coffee available the whole time in the lobby. I like showers that have dispensers for body-wash, shampoo, and conditioners. I didn't see a microwave in the room. Outdoor pool closes way too early at 7pm. Baggage trolleys are too narrow, which ironically can make them harder to move through doors. That is, too narrow to support the width of a vertical suitcase, so it needs to be laid down flat, which means the whole is wider than it would have been. Negatives took longer to explain, but the positives outweighed them."
