"Platinum Bonvoy here. I cannot say my stay was bad but certainly not the Marriott experience I’m used to. Very long line at the check in desk as a van load of cruisers just unloaded, but that’s not the hotels fault. My biggest complaint was rooms were not available even though I was checking in after 3PM. And I hate to be nitpicking but charging for parking??? Really??? Aren’t we done with that? The $10 a day charge through the text or app is really $11.78 after tax and “service fee”. Just wrap it into the room charge and I won’t see it or care. Making me pay independently for parking is a turn off. I’ll stay loyal to Marriott but I won’t stay at the Courtyard Dania Beach again."

"We had a great stay on my way to our Caribbean cruise. The customer service and food was good. Rachel made sure that all our needs were met. A week after I returned from my cruise I realized that I forgot my leather jacket for a week at the hotel. I returned after a week and Maureen searched for and found my Jacket in Lost & Found. She went above a beyond to find my jacket and it is thoroughly appreciated. I received exceptional customer service from her and everyone that I encountered. Thanks again. Elaine"

"Great nights sleep. Hectic place, staff does best they can. Great system to move mass amounts of people to and from cruise Port. We had a mishap on return at Port, called hotel they sent a shuttle driver that went the extra to locate us and take us to the airport. For-purchase food with Starbucks coffee, good staff but long wait time. It's a hectic and convenient hotel option. I HIGHLY recommend them, just set your expectations!!!!"

"I was just here for a quick overnight, so my opinion and experience is limited to that. As soon as I walked through the front door Augusto welcomed me and made me feel at home. He was able to check me in fast and efficiently, without taking too much time so I can rest as it was approaching midnight. He let me know some of the hotel amenities such as a gym, pool, a-la-carte breakfast option, etc. I really liked that there was a free shuttle to the airport. This is conveniently located near the airport and cruise port. They partner with a third-party to offer shuttle service to the cruise port for $25/person and you can sign up at the front desk when checking in. There were 3 shuttle times to accommodate the guests. The room was clean and well appointed. While walking from the elevator to my room on floor 4 or 5, there was a very noisy vent in the hallway, but once I was in my room I didn't hear it at all. For full disclosure, I was traveling for business. I work in the travel industry and may have received a discount compared to the normal rate. This does not change or influence my review and it is my own personal opinion. I would not hesitate to come back and I look forward to see Augusto."

"Pleasantly surprised! The staff was great (both the front desk and the breakfast team). The room was slightly dated but clean and comfortable. There were a number of people about to go on a cruise, so there was some excitement in the other guests which was fun. The hotel is between a train station and the interstate so there isn't a better side - but on the weekend the train didn't run as often so we weren't disturbed at all. This will be our go-to hotel for cruising since it's close to the port and close to I95."
