"Spent one night here because of my flight next morning. Everything was pretty clean, shower could have more water pressure and the “hot” water was warm, not more. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Big plus is the airport shuttle."

"For the most part, it is a good hotel with a lot of amenities. I have two issues though. One, there is a microwave for us to use in the lobby but they provide us with styerofoam plates. Do you know what happens when you microwave styerofoam foam? It melts. Two, the business center is not a business center. It is a touch screen computer that doesn't give you the ability to print. Why call it a business center when you cant use it?"

"This place is awful. First we call from baggage claim for the shuttle at 5:15. They hung up on my husband after saying don't call before we have our luggage. Called at 5:30 and went where they told us to wait. Called three more times. Didn't get to the hotel until a little after 7. It's only a few miles away at most. Oh, there were two more people than seats crammed into the shuttle which I doubt is even legal. It was ridiculous. The room has nothing in it. No place to store anything. One small uncomfortable chair and a bed. That's it. Water was not very hot and took forever to get even warm. Breakfast was nothing to write home about. The eggs had a weird consistency. All this can be yours for $393.07 dollars a night. I guess it was because it was a Saturday night. Do yourself a favor and go to embassy suites if you can afford it or the holiday inn express. This place was not worth the money. Only good thing I have to say is that it was clean."

"At the end of November 2023, my family and I needed a place to stay that was close to the Fort Lauderdale airport and Port Everglades (was flying from Canada to Fort Lauderdale for a cruise... which is a whole other story). This hotel fit our criteria. The hotel is close to the port and the airport. The hotel is relatively close to food options (fast food and some restaurants). This hotel features a very nice lobby that if a fun work space/lounging area. There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which offers a good amount of options. There is an outside patio area attached to the lobby, which is great for relaxing or spending time with larger groups. The gym is well stocked. And, best of all, the staff and service are top notch. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and accomodating. There are also shuttles available between the hotel and the airport (which are free), which is a huge convenience. There are shuttles between the hotel and Port Everglades, but these need to be scheduled and cost $15 per person. Overall, the shuttle service (free or paid) provided us with a lot of travel certainty, which is a big plus. The room itself would best be described as functional. It's not amazing, but serves it's purpose. It's clean and offers basic amenities, which is all you need when making a stopover along your journey. The biggest con is probably the parking situation. The only parking available is valet. The valet attendants are friendly and helpful, but it would be nice to park our own vehicle (we had a rented vehicle for our group). Overall, this hotel served our purpose quite well and the staff is amazing!"

"Tru by Hilton more like false. I understand tiers of hotels come with relative expectations but this hotel is not worth it. The vicinity is also super sketchy. Workers have no idea what’s going on, poor valet, poor service, and everyone gives different objective information. Incorrect port information is strange considering they must deal with these questions daily. Beyond that the rooms are abysmal, no microwaves, the AC is awful, no pool, and the list continues. Even for a night of sleep you’re better off staying at a nice comfortable and clean Hampton or otherwise. Trust the overall star rating."
