Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport South, an IHG Hotel

"We arrived early and the front desk staff worked hard to get us in a room earlier than standard check in time..staff were great and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower products provided. The pool on level 4 was a nice outdoor space, quiet and definitely overlooked by most guests our kids swam for a good 30 minutes without even seeing another person. Lots of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. We'd stay here again! Definitely an up and coming area! Complementary breakfast was great, amazing quality and selection. From all of our years of travel this has been the best complementary breakfast we have ever had. Huge selection and tasty food!"

"Good location, clean and comfortable hotel. Multiple restaurants within walking distance, as well as walking distance to the beach and Dania Pointe shopping area. Good breakfast as well. We arrived at 11 and they gave us early check in no problem. The only downside is some of the staff were in training and not able to be very helpful."

"Really impressed with our stay. Staff were friendly, prices are great, convenient location, rooms super clean with great amenities. Loved the mattress (I'm picky about my mattress). Breakfast was hearty and great selection of hot food. My only complaint was no-wifi (which, according to front desk is an ongoing problem with their ISP)."

"We had a pretty bad experience at this hotel. Our room was infested with Ghost Ants. And I don’t mean just a few of them in the room… they were crawling all over the fridge, everywhere in the bathroom, near our bed on the nightstands, counters, EVERYWHERE. The concierge was less than helpful, letting us know that they had no other available rooms and there isn’t much they could do for us but spray for bugs. They then proceeded to spray our room with Raid (harsh chemicals) and there’s no way to vent the room. The person spraying it even wore a mask but we were expected to stay and sleep in the room with the chemicals. This is all after we checked in at 11:30pm after driving 11 hours. It was a disgustingly horrible experience and I do not recommend this hotel. They gave us a whopping $50 off of our room that wasn’t cheap to begin with. Very unhappy with the customer service!"

"Not a bad hotel for a quick stay. The customer service is a hit or miss though. We had the same person who checked us in at night and was extremely rude and cold back up front in the morning but with a different attitude. The room was spacious but no hair dryer (weird I know!) close to the airport with shuttle service which be aware to always call and check ahead for the schedule. Breakfast was simple but had plenty of options."
