"Extremely disappointed I ordered the Gorditas and caldo de res. First off the rice tasted BURNT, the caldo de res literally came in a huge cup with 3 pieces of meat and one corn on the cob, i ordered green sauce they gave me red not a fan of that either. The only half way decent thing was the gorditas but there was way too much fatty meat and there was a PIECE OF HAIR IN IT!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE ."

"I had the Molcajete and the dish was sensational! Served in a steaming tureen, it had cactus, steak, sausage shrimp, cheese and avocados. Delicioso! I will return. The owner and his family are delightful."

"I have been here many times. I always get chicken enchiladas. The red sauce is excellent. The green sauce is very hot. The rice and beans were very flavorful not canned! I only had one not great experience when I asked for the sauce on the side. I think she misunderstood what I wanted. I got very dry chicken :( My husband likes the nachos and the fresh chicherones."

Worth a side trip to go check it out, the owner and his wife put their heart and soul into making great authentic and affordable Mexican food!!
