"Stayed for one night while visiting daughter at UNF. Would never give 5 star, because it is not that type of accommodations - it is not full service, etc... Would give a solid 4 star, with exception of one issue - there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bottles in the shower. Of course, nobody ever really checks this until the water is on and they are wet, so it was too late to rectify the situation and my shower was less than effective without shampoo. Anyway, overall the place was generally clean and quiet, the breakfast was good, but apparently the housecleaning staff does not pay attention to the details each day. Would still recommend and would still stay there again. Next time I will remember to check the shower amenities before getting wet."
"I stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip last week. Check-in was fine. I got a room on the 5th floor all the way at the end of the hallway next to the laundry room which wasn't great. My main issue was the first night there was no hot water so I took a cold shower. I let the manager on duty know in the morning that my hot water wasn't working and politely requested to move rooms he insured me that I would be moved however that did not happen. I spent my second night in the room with no hot water again this time not showering because it was freezing cold. Finally the morning of day 3 they moved me into a different room which had warm water at best. Also, they requested that I move my things out of the room before my new room was ready so that way they could have it clean and I'm assuming rented to the next Unknowing weary traveler so that they can also have cold showers. The staff here does not care about their customers at all all they care about is their bottom dollar. There's only two things I expect from a hotel and that's a clean bed and a hot shower they failed on 50% and offered me nothing for the incredibly uncomfortable stay. I won't be returning to this Hampton Inn"
"Terry was awesome! Great asset to this place. After flying all day and working all day, I was flat out exhausted, it was so nice to be welcomed so warmly! Sadly my 1st night, the guests next door wanted to party after midnight. Thankful hotel was able to get me to a new quiet room rather quickly after I told I really needed to rest. Wasn't their fault at all but do appreciate their swift remedy. Forgot the name of the kind gentleman who helped me that night."
"The hotel needs to be updated. The rooms and hallways looked old and worn out. The bathroom had holes in the walls and mold in the shower. DEFINITELY NO HOT WATER! It was one of the coldest days and a hot shower would have been nice."
"When we first arrived, the digital key didn't work properly on the room door. Then key cards didn't work reliably either. Informed the desk and they changed the batteries in the door lock. There was what looked like mold in the shower. Bathrooms did not have any hand soap or body wash - only shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. First night the AC in the room didn't work properly and there was no hot water. Barely even got to luke warm. When I informed the front desk the next morning, they told me that would let me know via text if they would be able to fix it or if we would have to change rooms. Never heard a word from them until we went back that evening and inquired. At that point, they changed our room and asked us to let them know when we had vacated the first room so they could send housekeeping. I don't imagine they intended to fix anything before re-renting to someone else. Second room had hot water and the AC worked. Got shorted on towels in that room. The coffee was weak/cold both mornings. The breakfast was okay."
