"I will not say good or bad, but it was not what I was expecting. Positives - 1. Looks good from outside, ocean theme. 2. Bed is clean 3. Shared kitchen Negatives 1. Room is too basic, it has just bed, no table, no chair. 2. Fan and room light are connected with same switch, Miami was little cold and I had no option but to put fan on if I have to switch the light. Very unconformable. 3. I booked room for 3, my wife and my son. There were two beds, but just one blanket. I requested for an additional blanket but the request was ignored. I have to wear my jacket most of the time and even while sleeping because there was no extra blanket. 4. Many times you will struggle to find someone to request the basic amenities. 5. Charging point, just in one corner, not near the bedside. Overall,this was not what I was looking for. This could still be a good option for bag packers."

"I love staying here and wish I could stay longer. I've met people from all over the world and (with help from Google translator) love talking with them about their home and travel experiences. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the neighborhood is full of vibrant Cuban culture and friendly people. As always, The management runs a tight crew with cleaning daily. Sheets are always changed, even if a guest stays for one night, so be assured you will have fresh linens and towels on arrival. Also, the staff go out of their way for all guest's requests. If you need anything, just ask. The kitchen (also a common area) is a large screened in patio, always hopping with plenty of cooking and lots of room to store food, as well as a great place to meet new friends. I can't wait until I'm able to return."

"I was tring to find a hotel late at night after me and my man drove 7 hours straight and was very tired, on 12/13/23 when I accidentally booked this room 12/13/24 a whole year from the night i was staying n when i asked for a refund they just took my money and said no n almost laughed when they told me next time i should check if a booking does refunds or not. Very rude n greedy people"

"I came here from Ohio and booked in October and had accidentally booked in the dormitory room but decided not to fix it since I got a good deal on staying for a week. Upon arrival I was welcomed and shown around which was nice! The staff are friendly and will check in on you if you need anything. They don’t make you feel like unwelcomed or ghosted. The kitchen outside and huge. You’ve got two fridges to store food/drinks for your stay which is convenient. The dormitory room honestly isn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I have social anxiety and thought I would be dealing rude or loud roommates but honestly they’ve all been quite friendly and everyone seems to stick to themselves so there’s never any drama. The beds are comfortable. You’re provided with a pillow and a thin bed sheet for a blanket. I didn’t know they didn’t provide fleece blankets or really anything that would keep you warm at night so that’s where I went wrong. I didn’t bring a blanket and with the ac on all night just makes the room freezing cold. I decided not to complain about it as I did bring some fall weather clothes with me to keep me warm at night. So just make sure to bring a blanket. Outlets are close to the beds for easy access to charge devices. I brought a lock for the locker to put personal items in it but the lock didn’t fit through the hole so I didn’t end up using it and kept everything in my suit case. I would consider it to be more like a little storage cubby only enough to store a little bit of clothes and shower supplies. It was a little smaller than what it looked like in the pictures. Everything is cleaned daily so there’s no need to worry about when something was last cleaned. I had surgery in the first couple days I was staying here and decided that I needed to book a private room for my nurse to monitor me during recovery as the dormitory room wasn’t going to work for that. Talked to one of the staff about needing a separate room for a day and she managed to help me book that and continue the rest of the time I booked in the dormitory room. Overall has been a good experience and definitely feels like a home away from home. Would recommend coming back here if I plan on traveling to Miami again."
