SpringHill Suites by Marriott Miami Downtown/Medical Center

"This hotel should be ashamed of their self. They specialized in medical suites, yet they have no empathy for the medical consumers that go there and stay there. The managers are worthless. All they do is stay locked up in the office all day long when you request to speak to them they send you messages thru the employees. can you put in a complaint nobody even acknowledges the complaint so much for customer service I guess they should go back to school and learn customer service especially when you’re dealing with the sick they’re getting guarantee payment from these medical health insurances you would think they would at least treat the medical patients, with some kind of empathy instead they sit around talking about people in Spanish thinking people don’t understand Spanish."

"Arrived last Thursday and left early this morning. Overall experience was great. The room was very clean and the staff at the front desk was very kind. The warm cookies were the bomb! Location of the hotel I feel is key! It is away from the busy part of Miami which served me well."

"This hotel leaves MUCH to be desired! The seating in the lobby is visibly stained. The elevators, rooms, and hallways are disgusting. The carpet in those areas are stained, dirty, and shredding in places. The rooms - I didn't even want to sit on or place any of my items on a soft surface. The room smelled slightly of mildew. The shower wall was a bit dirty up high. The glass shower doors weren't cleaned. The mirrors are rusting around the edges and have black specks on them. Don't look in any corner because it's not clean and it will gross you out. The air conditioning turns off and on every 30 seconds. The bathroom sink drained disgustingly slow. There are not USB charging ports in the rooms and my room didn’t have a full body mirror or alarm clock. I could go on but you get the idea. I wouldn't stay here unless it is out of absolute necessity. The pool is very small. The patio area photographed on their website had seating for 5 people outside. 3 chairs, and 2 lounge seats. Nothing else was out there. The hotel is rundown. It should be closed for a complete renovation and mold checks. I would have left and found somewhere else to stay if my reservations had not been work specific and booked by a travel agent. The staff was nice. That's the best I can do in my review of this hotel."

"Nice hotel but it can be busy when there is sadly 1 person and your waiting in line, not just check in but just to purchase a water. Better customer service is by having another attendant. So as the room, plenty space, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Tv has internet streaming as your Netflix which is awesome to have. Double beds , desk and couch. Two bathrooms w sink, one with a toilet the other a tub. Closet with mirror but not much of a window view but the street. I will recommend the place."

"It was good. A little taken at the surprised charge for the 'free amenities' $17.00 plus tax. They give you a card when you arrive and say, "this is for complimentary 2 waters or snacks or drinks at the bar. ...And breakfast .... Marriott, please be completely honest when giving that card because I had my own water and snacks and I would have rejected the offer and saved almost $40.00 including the added tax. The food in their restaurant is delicious! Rooms are clean! Staff is friendly! No pool chairs."
