"This hotel has a cockroach infestation and I was bit while sleeping in the middle of the night. Cockroaches don’t normally bite and if they are biting humans per online sites it is because they can’t find their regular food sources because there is an infestation. I had to kill four cockroaches in the middle of the night in the room and the hallways on the 5th floor had a strong smell of curry. The bathroom only had a shower and toilet with no fan and no windows. This set up is conducive to mold production especially in Florida. Pictures were taken of areas in the bathroom that looked like black mold to me as well as the bites I received The only sink was in the hallway, the shade did not move up so you couldn’t look out if the window except peeling behind it and it was sheer so at night you did not have full privacy. The breakfast was not good. Powdered eggs. When I explained the situation above to management and requested a refund they said they could only give me a 20 percent discount. They said that the manager was not present, at home sick and when she returned would check the room for roaches and contact me. No call, email, text or full refund has been received from them to date. Truly unacceptable."

"The desk clerk was nicest lady I could have hoped for after driving 9 hours to attend family funeral at The Sarasota National Cemetery. So sweet and helpful. I ended up staying an extra night and was thankful for her professionalism and courtesy."

"The room was a great value. It was nicer and cleaner than I expected for the price. Other than the occasional door closing, I never heard my neighbors even once. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast looked simple but good. The woman that checked me in was very friendly and helpful."

"My husband lost his ID at the airport in Syracuse. The hotel let us use a photo copy of the ID. We came in after midnight and they really saved us! The check in process with a kiosk is different but it's okay. The room was very clean. The sign said that maid service was available on request and they did it if you stayed longer than three days. The person came in the two days we were here for fresh towels and to stock up anything. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. The eggs actually looked good! The ONLY complaint I had was the pool says there's towels and there were none. They are currently doing construction but it's really not that bad or noisy or anything. I'm happy we chose this place and you probably will too!"
