Dollar General

"Just bought a pair of sunglasses. The cashier SCO avoided us at all costs and made us use the self checkout. Then accused us of stealing. Him and a woman who was a customer. So we went back in and grabbed our receipts that have the last four digits of our card numbers and all the details of our transaction. That's so messed up. We will never go there again and we're calling corporate. The store is a mess, there's never anyone to help you and then they accuse you of stealing."

"Good god does every inept worthless person in the world all get jobs at Dollar General? Looks that way. You’re debit/credit machine doesn’t allow customers to run a credit card without using a PIN number. Most don’t use PIN numbers for credit cards cause it charges higher interest on your purchase cause it tally’s it as cash back in case you didn’t know. I was charged 10 dollars on my purchase because of this and when I asked the ignorant lazy unwilling to help clerk why it won’t let me do a regular credit card purchase without using a pin she didn’t know and just did what I’d already done. Pushing enter should do the trick but no-not at your store. Then pushed the back red button and again nothing . So I’ve been penalized. Prices are bad enough right now and being charged 10 dollars for buying milk and creamer is absolutely ridiculous. You give these people “keys” and expect them to know what they are doing and they don’t. I was pissed when I left the store but now just raged after seeing the extra 10 dollar charge and knowing I was pissed she thought it to be a good idea to make snide comments as I’m leaving the store. You owe me money. It’s not my problem your clerks aren’t trained."

"Only one person in store. I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for someone to check in a delivery. Is insane dollar general wants to make millions of dollars but doesn't want to spend a little more money for 2 people to be in the store."

"Not sure how this store gets away with closing early not enough staff. Why can't the manager comes and work. Only time you see the manager is on day but after 3 pm he's gone I have never see him in the Evening. When I was a manager i came in to work to keep the store open. How does dollar general let this manager close early and not make the money they could. Hard to believe this store closes all the time and the manager stays after 3."

"This Dollar General store is my favorite in the area. I'm there at least once a week buying milk, bread, and the usual staples which are just as much if not less than Walmart."
