"Management doesn't care about your mental health. Do what they have to do you will quit because they don't want you there. Worked in North Carolina for almost 4 years with the most amazing people! Was assistant manager, was supposed to be same here. Nope was treated like a gopher. Moved back because my 8 year old niece has cancer. I wanted to be by my brother's side as he granddaughter went through chemo. I ask, please don't put me on a shift where I am stuck. If I need to leave I can go. Management says ok. Then I became night closer. No one else to run the store. I had gotten to the point that I had worked so hard to get out of (mentally) thanks to them. You just can't treat people who have been in the business longer like they are trash! You shouldn't treat people that way at all!!!!!!!. I love Variety Wholesale but this Pensacola store is out of control and so is the DM"

"I love this store. Shopped here for years. Today, I was asked to leave my purse up front while shopping because it looks like a back pack. I feel punished for whatever theft this store has encountered. I won't be back. And I'm certainly not leaving my purse with a stranger while I shop. You don't trust me, but I am supposed to trust you? No thanks."

"Wife sent me for a light Christmas mission. They did not have what she sent me for initially, but she was able to make due with what they had. It was packed, but checkout was fast and smooth. Staff was ran ragged but kept being polite. Will return if not around holiday time."
