"We have not had a great experience this go around with de’cor furniture. We had a sectional delivered in march with several large stains and a tear. They ordered us in new pieces. Took 5 months to receive new couch. Upon receiving new one it also arrived with stains. Much smaller but still stained! When spending $5k on a couch I expect it to arrive perfect. Owner, Gigi said she would get back with me regarding issues. It’s been 8 weeks and haven’t heard anything."

"I love this place. I've brought about 15 fixtures in to be rewired, and De'Cor Design Furniture always gets it done in about a day. It's not always cheap, but I can trust that it's a fair price and I'm happy to pay for such consistently great service. He is also able to tell me the approximate year each piece was made."

"We did not have a good experience here. Perhaps if you are already local, this works; however, it was not a pleasant experience for us and I felt they were very unorganized. We went with this business because of the good reviews and because of their location being close to our home. The entire process felt like a "fly by the seat of our pants" operation. In the end, we were supposed to have a credit for a broken nightstand that was returned. She wouldn't give us a refund on the purchase. We weren't allowed to return ANYTHING we purchased. She counted everything as a custom order (even though I found a tag under a cushion that showed one of our seats had already been sold and returned once). We went in later to use the nightstand credit but nothing was on file and they didn't even have our name in the system. I was told the owner wasn't there to speak to because she was out of town. It's not even worth it to me to argue about it so we wrote it off as just another loss on the entire order. I have zero desire to see or speak with these people ever again. We are in the process of building another home and are having to order furniture for an entire house (local)...needless to say, we will not be ordering from Gigi again. My advice, continue looking around. There are a ton of beach friendly shops in the area and even across the Alabama border with many of the same options. Unlike Yelp, I know that leaving a Google review will give the owner an opportunity to respond but not give me the opportunity to reply to her response (a former small business owner myself). Knowing how difficult it is to run a small business is what kept me from leaving a review for so long; however, I've never felt this way about any business and feel others should know it's not always a 4.4 star experience."

"I recently purchased a large picture. After it was hung on the wall in my room, several unslightly defects became noticeable that were not noticeable in the showroom. When I returned the picture, I was not given a refund, but a credit. While not happy about that, I still needed some lamps and purchased them with the majority of the credit. I was told I would receive a check for the balance of the credit. Three weeks go by and I talk to the bookkeeper who tells me the check was being written that day. It has been 10 days and still no check. Thank you Gigi for reaching out to me and correcting the situation."
