"Dr. Wendy and Dr. Swanson were very compassionate and professional. Saying goodbye to our loving fur babies is never easy. They were very kind and took care of our loving cat Allister. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They are the best!"
"When my kitty suddenly went into stage 4 kidney failure I needed to make the hard decision to euthanize him but didn't want to do it at a vet as the vets office stressed him out immensely, I wanted to be able to do it at home. I called this company to come out the day before to euthanize my kitty and they were able to set me up with an appointment and do it at my home. The man and woman who came (sorry I don't remember their names) were so incredibly kind and compassionate and calming. This was a very hard thing for me to do as I had had my kitty for 16yrs but these guys made it easier. I thank you guys so much for being so calm and kind and compassionate. In a moment when your world may feel like it's falling apart you guys helped me not feel so alone and scared. Thank you so much for everything. I was so worried I wouldn't find someone who would be able to take care of my kitty with such love in the end but you guys did so thank you again from the bottom of my heart you made a terribly hard process less hard."
"My husband and I had to make the hardest of decisions when our 13 and half year old cat, Paige fell ill. I always said that when the time came, in-home euthanasia would be our choice. We live in North Port, Florida and since Hurricane Ian, services are sparse for both people and our pets. I found Holistic Veterinary House Calls on google and spoke to Dr. Kyle. I was happy when Dr. Kyle said that they would travel to North Port, as their main practice is in Sarasota. Dr. Kyle listened to me with understanding and care and provided us with all the information necessary, then we made the most heart-wrenching appointment ever. Dr. Kyle and Dr. Wendy arrived early, explained in detail the procedure. They were gentle and compassionate to our fur-baby and us. They even stepped outside of our home so we could say our final good-byes. It was a beautiful good-bye as we watched our Paige go Over the Rainbow Bridge. I cannot thank both Dr. Wendy and Dr. Kyle for their compassion and service. I would be comfortable bringing any pet to them for their services. Thank you again Dr. Wendy and Dr. Kyle for helping us on one of the hardest days of our lives!"
"I cannot recommend Dr. Ying and Dr. Swanson enough for their kind, compassionate and super professional attitude while putting our beloved dog to sleep in the comfort of our home. Even though this event was very sad, they remained very grounded and poised, which helped create a soothing and peaceful atmosphere. Dr. Swanson had explained the whole process prior the visit, so we knew what to expect. Exactly as they said it would happen, they gave Yogi another small dose of anesthetic before injecting the euthanasia solution, because he was still reacting to stimulus after the initial dose. It was a very methodological and gentle process. Our Yogi went over the rainbow bridge very peacefully. We are grateful for Dr. Ying and Dr. Swanson."
"After visiting an emergency vet on a Sunday evening, I learned I had no choice but to euthanize my beloved dog, Skiba. In desperation, but with hope my dog could return to the comfort of his home before passing, I reached out to numerous, in-home euthanasia providers. Among the dozens of providers who were understandably unavailable to take calls prior to Monday morning, I found Dr. Swanson, who responded to my plea after 9:00 pm on a Sunday evening. Because of Dr. Swanson's response, Skiba was able to travel home and spend his final moments surrounded by the people he loved and doing his favorite things. Had Dr. Swanson not responded, I would have followed the emergency vet's advice to euthanize him that evening and our family would have missed out on making final memories at home with our boy, Skiba. Dr. Swanson and Dr. Ying traveled outside of their county to put Skiba to rest within his home. They were kind, empathetic, and all-around outstanding. I had a previous pet of mine euthanized within our home and was very satisfied with that vet's service, but Dr. Swanson and Dr. Ying were even more remarkable - they responded to my request well outside of normal business hours, traveled beyond a reasonable distance, and showed genuine compassion while they were within our home. The gift of time, comfort, and closure they provided our family is invaluable and one for which I will forever be grateful. They are selfless people and have my highest level of recommendation."
