"Walgreens is conveniently located next to Village Medical, where I see my primary care doctor. It's nice to shop or look around the store while waiting for my ride. While they have items my pharmacy CVS doesn't have, they're still on the expensive side."

"The afro latina woman with the NY accent is incredibly RUDE. It took a great deal of professionalism on my part to remain civil during our interaction. Professionalism is an attribute she desperately lacks. Hopefully, Walgreens corp will provide that employee customer service training. I'm confident the company has had complaints about her before from patrons and other employees alike. If she doesn't change her attitude and develop better communication skills she will not be very successful in customer service and may want to consider an alternative career trajectory. I miss the days when folks took pride in their work. SMH"

"They gave my $3000 prescription to some random person mistakenly. They then told me I had to get my doctor to send in another prescription, which I did. Now they are trying to charge my insurance a second time and won’t give me my medicine until they sort out their mistakes. Their negligence is causing me serious problems. Be very careful sending your prescriptions to be filled at this Walgreens, they are either incompetent or stealing medication."

"Avoid this location if you can, made an appointment the unprofessional what seemed like a cracked out pharmacist yelled at me to come back so they could prepare my kit. I pulled back into the line 20 mins later as they requested and they pretended like they didn’t just talk to me about my appointment. Why make an appointment if they need so much time to prepare what should have been prepared for the appointment, it’s just a q-tip in a plastic bag. If someone doesn’t show up to the appointment it’s not like they can’t have those items laying out already prepared.. no one checked identification, it could have been anyone swabbing for me. Overall, this place needs some organizing and change in personnel. I will def never be back here as a matter fact, I’m switching to CVS and will overlook a Walgreens if there are other options, they need to hold their employees at a higher standard. Also, every website says you can get results usually in 72 hours, the “pharmacist” that day told me it could take 3-5 days. That doesn’t fit the window for the event I am required to have the test results back by, I checked online and saw CVS takes 2 days. What a waste of trip coming here."

"Vaccine information sucks!!!!! Told I do NOT need to make an appointment over the phone for the third Pfizer shot, just walk-in during store hours. When to the Walgreens at 3550 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, FL 34237. Arrived at about 1:10PM and unprofessional pharmacy technician tells me to come back at 2:15 because the pharmacist is at lunch. I ask if I can make an appointment and she says you have do it online. I said nowhere does it say that you do not give shots during the pharmacist lunch hour. Ask to talk to manager. She says she done with me. Very rude young lady. One star, have to give at least one star."
