"The lady working at the counter with glasses and gray hair was terribly mean and should not be in customer service or animal care. We were there to get a prescription dog food and she was unwilling to accept the one we had and suggested we get non prescription dog food instead. What kind of person would suggest to a sick dog who has been on a special diet for two years to change his food? That was so dangerous and unacceptable."

"We have had a wonderful experience with Banfield Pet Hospital. Dr. Henry, Dr. Manu and all of the staff have been delightful. Dr. Henry was so caring and patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. Lori at the front desk was cheerful and helpful every time. I don't remember all the names of the staff but I have yet to be disappointed. We have had a 5-star, positive experience every time. Thank you for taking such great care of Rocko!"

"Dr Williams , Ruth , Lauren, Pam, Jacelyn, Tori, & Tiffany were so loving, kind and professional during my recent visit with my Lasapoo Wyatt. Wyatt was poisoned somehow and he was on his deathbed when I arrived. This team of incredible people diagnosed, treated and performed several follow ups throughout the weekend until my baby was out of the woods. Thank you all very much for the outstanding care you gave Wyatt. He’s made a full recovery. I also want to give you’ll a special thank you for the kindness and compassion you’ve showed me & my friends personally throughout this scary time. God bless Karen Kelleher Wyatt Kelleher"

"You couldn’t pay me to take my dog back a banfield pet hospital. Especially after the one in Sarasota almost killed my dog. That particular vet is a hack and should be fired and have his license suspended. Brought my dog in several times with complaints of coughing and lethargy and occasional vomiting. All he wanted to was prescribe stomach meds, had zero interest in figuring out why my dog kept coughing and couldn’t run without having a coughing fit. So we followed his directions and my dog got a little better due to the general antibiotics but sure enough his condition took a turn for the worse. He wasn’t eating and was having trouble breathing so we took my dog back a third time and asked about his breathing and we were brushed off as being overly concerned. Got more diarrhea/vomiting meds and were sent on our way. About a week later I knew something was very very wrong when I woke up at 3 am to my dog wheezing heavily and looking at me with fear in his eyes. We rushed to an emergency vet and they ran a bunch of tests. They measured his blood oxygen level at 75-80%, it should be 95-98% or more. The vet said he probably wouldn’t have lived through the night. After spending the night and most of the day there, they got to a point where my dog needed more specialized tests to rule out if he had male or female heartworm. At the time that was a highly possible diagnosis based his symptoms. Apparently, if dogs are given the wrong meds for the type of heart worm they have it can kill them. So we took him to a Bluepearl in Tampa where he spent more than 36 hours on constant oxygen while they ran tests. Turns out he had a combination of bronchitis and pneumonia caused by some kind of parasite. His lung xrays looked like they were full of cotton candy, they should be almost clear as glass. Almost 5,000$ worth of treatment later we left with a dog who could now stand up on his own and was eating almost normally. We found another vet through family who was very knowledgeable and able to continue his care with steroids and other meds. After 10 months of breathing therapy my dog is completely back to normal and will have no lasting damage from the ordeal."
