"My appointment time was 9a on a Saturday. There is a door sign that instructs you to check in through the urgent care center. The problem is I was asked to arrive 15 minutes prior but the urgent care does not open until 9am. I waited outside the urgent care center door but no one arrived until 9:12a. I then received a call from registration who asked me to provide my cc number to make my copayment by phone. I’m in a lobby with a bunch of people and she asked me to give her my cc number by phone. I asked if I could just pay at the desk and she said she would send me a link. I click the link to pay and see my balance is double what she said it would be. Apparently, they charged me for the same copayment for a visit I was supposed to have four days prior but rescheduled until today. I could not call her back because it was a main number and I didn’t have her extension. When I asked the front desk clerk, he said just because I came in today doesn’t mean I don’t hav to pay for the rescheduled appointment copayment. Clearly he doesn’t understand insurance. Now I have to take time out of my schedule to call on Monday and make sure they remove that duplicate charge. The technician was great. Absolutely no complaints. The last thing was I had to wait a little longer than expected because although my order was for a specific test, the tech stated he had to contact neuro and the radiologist to approve the test type, even though my physician is the one ordering and my insurance authorized it. Do better Baptist Health."

"I had a pleasant experience at this facility. I was taken back on time and my technician was very polite and courteous. She was also very knowledgeable and gladly answered my questions in great detail."

"Do not go on a Saturday. They do not open till 9 so if your appointment is at 9 arrive then. Also they don’t tell you you need to go to urgent care for the appointment. While there the girl that originally checked us in for an imaging appointment didn’t tell her replacement we were there. They completely forgot about us and didn’t get seen until 9:50 for a 9 an appointment. Then the front desk never turned in the tv’s in the waiting and turned off all the lights in the waiting area as if he had a hungover and didn’t want to be bothered. We will never go back to this Doral location again!!!"
