Despite the urgency of the situation, the staff hesitated to provide assistance without immediate payment. It was disheartening to witness a prioritization of financial concerns over the well-being of my friend's beloved pet. I believe veterinary care should be driven by genuine concern for animals, not just financial gain. "We have been a loyal customer at this vet clinic for years. Unfortunately, a recent incident changed our decision to stay with them. We were out of the country and had our dog in the kennel, and my dog had seizures. My dog, who has been a regular visitor, everyone knew him, was treated there for years, and was denied assistance without upfront payment. To mention we were out of the country and had very limited web access. The kennel provided a $500 deposit which was the amount they’ve asked to make sure my dog was taken care of. For years of taking our dogs there we have never left the clinic without paying our dues. This shift in approach lacks understanding and flexibility. It is disheartening to see long-term clients treated this way. The lack of understanding and professionalism are the reasons why we would never return to them."
