Reviews
"This review is solely about the pharmacy side of this Walgreens. Firstly, I would highly recommend avoiding this Walgreens for your pharmacy needs. As the other reviews state, the staff here are beyond rude. Whenever you have a problem, it’s not them that caused it… it’s something on the customer’s end. I’ve been getting my Warfarin for close to a year from other Walgreens and have had no issues. I moved to this area back in August. Picked up my first prescription, no issues (except that’s what I thought). Next month rolls around and I go to pick up my new prescription. Got the phone call saying it’s ready, I pull up to the window and the lady refused to give me my meds. When I asked what the issue is she stated “you’re trying to pick your meds up too soon, the insurance is probably kicking it back. So you just need to wait a few more weeks and come back.” I told the lady that I’ve never had this issue, my prescription lasts about 28 days and then I need another fill. At this point I can’t afford to wait any longer and I would prefer to not miss my doses. She stated there’s nothing she can do, that I would have to return at a later date. Thankfully I returned a few days later and magically it could be released to me now. Now fast forward to the month after that, I go in to pick up my meds, and I have a balance (that I shouldn’t have because I’ve met my OOP cost and deductible) I stated this and the lady said i don’t know what to tell you, but you have a balance. So, I paid the $2 balance and called to dispute with my insurance company. Come to find out this pharmacy filled my prescription as a 90 day fill and was only giving me the one month supply. I called the pharmacy to ask if this is what was happening and I believe I spoke to a female pharmacist. She stated that it’s not Walgreens fault, but I would have to contact my insurance and the insurance would have to contact Walgreens to get it settled. I called the insurance back and they stated that Walgreens should be able to release the info to the patient. So…. Yet again in the circle I call Walgreens back and spoke to someone else, who confirmed they were giving me a 90 day fill, but only actually filling the script with a 30 day supply… I stated it’s supposed to be a 30 day supply not 90 and I need this addressed so I don’t have anymore issues trying to pick up my script. The lady gave me an attitude and a loud sigh and said “I’ll get this handled” and immediately hung up the phone.. fast forward to getting this months fill and guess what, yet again they tried to give me a 90 day fill, but only actually supplied me with 30 days. So that was addressed, and fixed with the lady I spoke too on the phone stating that the reason this happened is because with the instructions given it shows my script would last longer than 30 days. Which someone at this pharmacy needs to retake math class, because doing the math from the instructions I have exactly 28 days worth of pills. Whoever the chubbier short haired blonde lady is, is completely disrespectful. She never states her name, so I have no idea who she is. Matter of fact she never even acknowledges your presence until you say something to her. Pull up to the drive through window and she stares at you until you say something.. like I thought customer service meant you greet the customer? She cuts you off before you can even finish your question. Doesn’t say hello, doesn’t say have a good day, doesn’t say thank you or you’re welcome, despite being respectful towards her. I’ve dealt with this lady for months now and she’s the same every-time and gives you attitude when you question something and tries to cut you off and avoid the situation completely. The pharmacist should have their license revoked. Some of the other employees should be barred from the medical field. What these employees are doing is illegal and is going to be brought to light. P.S - I asked about getting the 120 days of pills they charged me for and sent claims for and got told I’m out of luck!"
"Probably one of the worst pharmacies i have ahead the pleasure of dealing with. Clerks refuse to fill orders, lie when they are being done, and act like children when called out for. Almost every costumer I’ve spoken to has their own list of problems. Today a member of my family was screamed at by a very cranky pharmacist (dude is prob in his 30’s by the way) just for making sure the order for my disabled partner was properly filled out. It’s so surprising to see someone who went to college for a job to actually act like 13 year old child. I know my family aren’t the first to have an awful experience with the pharmacy here but I’m writing this review with hopes that some type of change will happen at the pharmacy whether it be by an attitude change or personnel change."
"Being honest, I used to like shopping here. The staff a couple of months before were as sweet as they ever could, always trying to give us the best experience. Yet these days I’ve seen new employees whose attitudes I don’t even need to explain to get a bad day."
"Photos employee had an attitude from the moment she walked to the counter. Needed a passport, yet she couldn’t provide one because the camera battery was bad. Why offer a service If your employees don’t want to do their jobs. She asked if I wanted to come back later I said not really I need it now. Her reply “well then idk what to tell you.” I’ll take my business to CVS. Not going to spend my money to be treated poorly!"
"Lisa is an excellent representation of how customer service should be handled and a very professional pharmacist. The same cannot be said for many others working in retail pharmacy these days, it is a very stressful career and they are overworked. In my opinion she should be in management. I won't speak ill off the others because as mentioned I realize it's a tough job but if the others would take a que from Lisa's extraordinary service standards this location would receive 5 star reviews without question. She definitely deserves recognition and that's what prompted this review. It only takes a second to show kindness and respect"
