"I had my wife flown into Sacred Heart Hospital 4 Jan 2019, at 11;00 PM, she had a stroke at 7:30 that night, because a failed anneurysm repair had started leaking. We were told that we would have a Surgeon waiting for us upon arrival. That was not the case, it took three hours to get Dr Toledo into the Hospital to do the surgery. This was the worst experience that I have ever witnessed, Filthy instruments, k-pap not working correctly, feeding to e was not into the right place causing Death of my beloved wife of 49 years, Dr Marie Toledo treatment was not acceptable, the infectious disease dr was not called in in time to assist, until the 11th hour. Nurses were incompetent in treating my wife. Sad story but true, documents do not lie."

"I highly recommend Ascension Sacred Heart Neurosurgery! I came in in extreme pain. The nurse practitioner Lyndsay Norman was able to discuss all of my questions and concerns. They had me do a few tests and then brought me back in in to see Dr. Carr. She was amazing! Right after being placed in a room she came in and sat with me until she knew that all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I am currently doing physical therapy because I wanted to make sure that surgery was the very last course of action that I took. If I do end up needing surgery, I am confident that I will be in the absolute best hands!"

"I made an appointment to see Dr. Ronderos at this practice after doing extensive research to find a neurosurgeon. This appointment was made two months ago. I arrived at my appointment to be assigned to a Nurse Practitioner as Dr. Ronderos left the practice and no one at this medical group bothered to let me know. The front desk secretary attempted to rectify the situation by scheduling me with another neurosurgeon but not before making the comment "it's hard to get in with a surgeon." The only one who bothered to apologize was the office nurse. I canceled the appointment and will never refer or go back to this unprofessional practice again. If something so minor as letting a prospective patient know of the change in medical care provider is this difficult, I can make a fair assumption that they have other issues that are systemic in nature. It's not brain surgery to have a competent front desk staff (pun intended). Avoid at all costs."
