"He has treated multiple cancers for me. He takes the time to explain what is wrong and what needs to be done. This man is the best."
"This is an update to my previous post. Well, it's been years since my radiation treatment by this QUACK has ended. Without a doubt, Rountree is an incompetent loser as a radiologist, and I believe he had to have bought his medical license rather than earn it!!! It's even more of a sin the the Woodlands has alllowed him to practice there... but, I guess anything is believable since they allowed the terrible urologist (Jeff Wolters), that screwed my surgery up, to remain on staff there as well. I just recently received feedback from one of the MOST PROMINENT urologists in the United States that the continuing drama (and ZERO QUALITY OF LIFE) that these two pitiful so-called "physicians" have accounted for such a disaster in my life. My surgery and radiation cystitus are the worst that has been seen, or published, for decades. Bottom line.... I will never have ANY RESPECT for either of these losers. Wolters just borders shameful, and Rountree's antics were abysmal. Rountree is a money-grubbing gluton, as I described before. In my eyes, there no hope for Wolters' incompetence. So, if you want to take the chance of ending up like me... I whole-heartedly recommend these two for your treatment. DON'T EVER SAY THAT YOU WEREN'T WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________________________________________________ THIS IS A MUST READ!! After a prostate removal due to cancer, I had to have radiation treatment throughout my entire pelvic region in order to kill some remaining cancer cells that tests showed were present but that couldn't be specifically located by Dr Rountree and the Woodlands staff. Dr Rountree's orders for me were that I was supposed to be radiated only when my bladder was at least 1/2 full. Unfortunately, there were times that I was radiated at a marginal fluid-fill level. That apparent "drive to maintain schedule" overrode the resulting site effects with my health. Resultantly, I have suffered from SEVERE radiation cystitis in the bladder with significant bleeding and passing of blood clots... requiring a dozen or so ER visits and 2 hospital admissions. Not once during radiation treatment was there ever a pause to wait for what needed to be a more optimal fluid level with me... only that there was a schedule to keep. I mentioned that concern to Dr Rountree a number of times, but to no avail. I have been told by other doctors that my bleeding has been caused by that radiation. I sadly believe that there was more concern for money with driving the "on schedule" thing rather than my possible side effects. I substantiate that because when I checked one of my visit's EOBs, I noticed that what was an office visit was charged as a cancer treatment which was billed at thousands of dollars difference. When I questioned the Woodlands billing office, they asked why I was concerned because the insurance paid for it. I told them that my concern was anethical one about misbilling and they needed to return that large payment. I even mentioned that to Dr Rountree and Dr Wolters... both of whom did not seem that concerned about it. I told all three that if that money wasn't returned and properly rebilled that I was going to make the insurance company aware of this inequity. So, just be aware for your own care and ethical protection when using this facility. Both prostate surgery and radiation treatment have left me scared for years (and in some side effects, for life) and I would not want anyone else to go through what I have."
"Doctor Rountree and his staff are first class professionals. I was always treated with respect and courtesy. May they be blessed by our Lord and Savior for all they do."
"If you are looking for a Radiation Oncologist, look no further…Dr. Rountree is an awesome doctor with a wealth of experience. He gets with each patient at a minimum once a week during the treatment cycle to see how the patient is feeling and to answer any questions they may have. I am very particular and he exceeds my expectations. In addition, his staff reflects the same professionalism and care. This is a direct reflection not only how the patients are taken care of, but the employees also. You will never feel rushed when speaking to Dr. Rountree….When you walk into Woodlands for the first time you will find a staff eager ready to help you and answer any questions to put your mind at rest. Thank you Dr. Rountree and staff… H. Stair"
"Absolutely top notch people. I never cease to be amazed at the caring, compassionate attitude of all of these folks. Makes my life easier. Shout out to Dr. Judah and Sherry."
