He is highly qualified, listens and has a great bedside manner. I think he is here to stay and build a practice. The staff is also top-notch! They are always there for me."
"I started going to Island Doctor's after Baptist Health Care dropped my insurance.. The FIRST doctor I was involved with was horrible, wouldn't listen, talked over me, and treated me as if I were a bother. I left that location and went to the second location here in Pensacola, Florida. The doctor that I saw there was phenomenal, and 'really' listened to me, and helped me in every aspect. She was hands down one of the BEST doctor's I've seen here. Unfortunately 'they' won't guarantee that I will continue seeing this particular doctor! Rather, whomever is 'available' on the date of my appointment. Personally, I DON'T want to 'see whomever' is available, I prefer to see ONE GP, someone who will get to know me, and my medical issues. The other problem I have with this medical facility is they rarely fill my prescription's!! My pharmacist HAS to call them and TELL them it needs to be filled!! I have had nothing but problems from them when it comes to getting prescription's filled. Even if I call a week in advance, my prescription's are NEVER ready, nor has my pharmacist heard from them! They (Roy Hinman) refused to fill my cholesterol medication, but forced another one on me (which I was unfamiliar with), and I had a severe allergic reaction to it. I called the office and told them this, as of yet I have NOT heard back from them. My pharmacist advised that I do NOT take this medication again, which I won't! I just want a GOOD doctor to help me with my medical issues! One who WILL LISTEN, and take my feelings on matters seriously. I'm considering firing these doctor's at Island Doctor's."
