"I appreciate the competence and ease of working with Defy’s providers. Every consult has been fantastic, and I’ve been using them since 2016. The clinic’s order processing and shipping times have gotten ridiculous. COVID and hurricanes were their excuses for a while, but everything should be back to normal by now. Orders usually take at least 10 days to get approved shipped out. On top of that, on multiple occasions, I’ve paid for expedited shipping and their partner pharmacy has mistakenly used slower methods. Defy also tries to charge extra for Saturday delivery, although UPS provides Saturday/weekend delivery for free (if authorized by the shipper) on any residential next-day or two-day packages. I’m at the point where I am contemplating switching to competitors who use a subscription model. I wish Defy would offer subscriptions or auto-ships, or find some more efficient pharmacies to partner with. If we were dealing with supplements or something, time wouldn’t be of the essence. But these are medications that they will not fill early, so having a 10+ day processing time is just unacceptable and has interrupted my treatment countless times. On top of this, if there is an issue, their customer service runs around with their head chopped off. I had someone named Renee cancel my order in June, stating that I hadn’t had labs or a consultation since 2020 (totally WRONG, not sure whose chart she was looking at). Getting this resolved meant being transferred to five different people and never ultimately being able to speak to a supervisor. That’s just one of many issues, but it stands out because Renee was 100% looking at the wrong patient’s chart and it was clear my complaint was not going anywhere."
"Constant errors and order screw ups over the past year. I’ve been using Defy for 6 years now and the quality of service has gone downhill rapidly. 3 of my last 4 orders have been wrong or incomplete, costing me hours of time having to drive back and forth to the pharmacy to pick up parts of my order that they forgot to send. The staff is nice and very friendly, they just can’t seem to get things right. I’ll be looking for a new doctor."
