Reviews
"They are so sweet and polite. They meet almost every need from exercise which Debbie Freeze is the greatest as she goes way beyond her job Transportation is friendly and helpful and kind. The doctors are sympathetic and listen to your complaints also and the nurse practitioner Talley is just one in 1 million I don’t even like nurse practitioners but I will see her anytime. Well I could go on and on but Reliance is a wonderful place and Dr. Ramiro is a peach."
"In response to Reliance's reply, to both my mother and myself, please do show her your tracking of every comment/call/procedure, etc.that you so conveniently have now that you have a bad review. If it were true that you had those things, then you would have contacted my mother a long time ago. It took many a call (which by the way, this was never a HIPAA issue as I never asked for any information but merely to make an appointment on his behalf) And yes, after many calls I finally spoke with Jessica about the issue. This was also after the receptionist from from my dad's ID doctor hounded reliance to speak with me or my mom regarding a biopsy referral. I confirmed many times that the ID doctor's notes were received by reliance (which indicated he needed biopsy next day). This all resulted in nothing. Months after those notes were received, the result was my dad going to the hospital twice for a supposedly scheduled biopsy. The first time, the biopsy was scheduled for the WRONG body part. The second time (after all the fighting) he went in only to have the hospital tell him that, although the biopsy was approved by insurance, reliance had never done their part to push it through as approved. He never got it. Stop trying to cover up your lies. Because if you'd done everything per protocol, my dad would be well into receiving the proper treatment. I advise you to review your protocol. Also, patient satisfaction was reached out to months ago. They never contacted my mom."
"So I was not going to write anything on them, but after todays call I have to warn you. I used to go there and it was great, now its a complete mess in there and there seems to be no communication with their own departments there. So my insurance changed and mind you I have Out of Network benefits and they told me that they could no longer see me and if a Dr would see me I would have to pay out of pocket, which is fine as it is a financial obligation that has to be met, but they mentioned that I could not receive a prescription for a medication if I need one. Mind you, I was sick and needed antibiotics to clear me up. I was turned away and have a feeling that the front desk didnt know what they were doing because they kept walking away to the back as no one had the answers for me. So you tell me, what happened to trying to help anyone? What a joke. There is another family member that goes there and he too is fed up with the amount of time trying to set up an appointment and not following up with a potential well being concern. They are all about the bottom line and you can decide if you would want to go to a corp. vs a family Dr. They cant seem to hold on to their personal there and seems like a job that has a huge turn around. No thank you, too many red flags there, save yourself some time and go to a real Family Doctor vs a revolving door. Too bad I couldn't take away any Stars, because I would not have even given them that."
"If you are 100% healthy and will never need a referral or any sort of test/procedure done then this is the place for you! Otherwise, don't walk.. run. This place is an absolute nightmare, and they do not care one bit about the people they've taken an oath to care for. They only care about the amount of money they can save by not approving whatever it is you need. Cardiac? Nah.. you're good. Pulmonary? Ehhh.. You'll be fine. The only thing you can "rely" on is that they will put you through the ringer to the point that they hope you'll be too tired to persue litigation. I laughed reading their responses to other reviews here because I know they flat out lie to cover themselves. I went as far as to get 2 other providers involved in advocating for my father's care. I called the patient satisfaction line. I spoke with people in the office who are supposed to be responsible for addressing needs and concerns. Nobody reached out to my mom to from patient satisfaction. Nobody followed through with ANYTHING they said was done or would be done. Mind you, this is almost a year of a sick man's life. I know sometimes people have limited options, but you will get absolutely nowhere with this place. Do what you need to do for yourself/family member to find somewhere that will at least give 1/4 of a care, because it will be more than what you receive here."
"Well, there is a lot I can say about Reliance medical and it’s not very good. I have been there for 3 yrs. Routine visits are ok but if you need a specialist it is a nightmare. They make you feel like they’ll give you a referral when they get around to it. Then they want to send 20 miles away when there are specialists in network no more than 5 miles away. The people who handle the referrals are subpar, to be sure. When I was in pain and needed that referral quickly it would take multiple calls and weeks for them to get it together. I have complained to the “patient satisfaction” people and only got lip service. I asked to see a psychologist once and they tried to talk me into seeing their social worker. I never got another referral. As recently as today I called to ask for a copy of my recent bloodwork so I could have it in front of me tomorrow when I do the telehealth call. The woman I spoke to said I could have it. I drove 20 minutes there and then I’m told it’s against their “protocol.” I asked to speak to my doctor and they would not let me do that either. I was obviously misinformed which is the main problem with this place. It’s a left hand never knows what the right hand is doing kind of place. It is very poorly run and I will be looking for a new place for more adequate healthcare. After 3 years I find it quite pathetic and I, as a patient, deserve better than that!"
