"The apartments smell like marijuana and are extremely outdated. The staff is no help. This used to be a nice place to live, but it is sadly going downhill. Poor management, lack of communication, and no help from the staff. I would spend my money elsewhere. Would not move here."

"the lovely people in the office always have a attitude and never know what’s going on…the apartments themselves are literally raggedy , maintenance has been out here every month multiple times a month!!! then have the nerve to be adding on random fees as if these apartments ain only worth $20! my apartment literally just almost caught fire today if i didn’t call. STEER CLEAR PLS"

"I lived here for a little over a year and really enjoyed it. Tristan, Laura Leigh & Lacy are always so professional and helpful and my maintenance requests were always handled in a timely fashion. My apartment was extremely spacious for the price, I've had trouble finding anything else that compares. I never had trouble with any crime in the area. Walking around the trail at the lake was a must for me (& it's a great place to take pictures- even professional ones) & the laundry facility was always clean and in working order on the few occasions I had to use it. The gym was small but had enough equipment to maintain a light workout regimen and the YMCA was only right up the street. I loved living at the Lakes and would definitely recommend. Thanks Laura, Tristan & Lacey for always being so kind."

"I love it is great! it’s only one probably and that’s with the bugs. As soon as we got there there were spiders and roaches. But other than that their great. Good spacious rooms and I love their bathrooms. great place to stay just need to work on the bugs"

", Tristan was very friendly, but he and his front office staff CLEARLY have miscommunication issues. Several times we were ensured that the property we applied for was ours but each time in less that 24 hours I mean, they reported someone else had applied to the property OVERNIGHT- even though my husband had already had his app to go through including his app fee. The second time we had an error in submitting the second person on the application and was told to just bring the money order in. Everything Tristan told us to do we did. Unfortunately- his promises fell through each time. The next day after taking the money order (still being reassured that the apts was ours the whole time) I called to speak with Tristan to ensure everything came back fine and he said “ YES Mrs. Parks, EVERYTHING came back fine & looks great I just need my manager to look it over and y’all will be good to go”. Well, needless to say moments later there was a email sent saying we was denied , no courtesy call from Tristan or ANYTHING. I called the office to speak with him multiple times and the other office staff kept answering the phone saying he wasn’t there, busy ; or with another client Basically SCREENING THE CALL. Picking and choosing who to answer for. TRASH. The lakes are COMPLETE trash. I would not recommend at allll we were gonna downsize from a 3 to a 2 bedroom ONLY because the 2 bdr units were new but had we had to get the original ones? It would’ve been a HUGE NO. If y’all wanted some application fee money that’s all y’all had to say. Completely unprofessional. Glad we saved ourselves the headache and misery from living there."
