They also will tell me where to find a piece of clothing if WHBM does not have it. I was able to purchase something for ALL the women in my family for Christmas with the sales that WHBM had throughout the Christmas season. If you have not been to WHBM go and check it out. "I really like the clothes at White House Black Market but I don't go in the store unless I'm mentally prepared to say no and stand my ground. I recently went in and tried on a handful of dresses. A few of them I kind of liked but I just couldn't justify spending over $100 on a dress I didn't love. I walked out of the dressing room empty handed. I was immediately questioned about why I didn't like the dresses. I gave a simple explanation that I just didn't love any of them. They weren't happy with that response and really wanted a detailed explanation. I hate these sales tactics as I leave feeling guilty I didn't purchase anything."
"What really annoyed me today was not that I was asked to put on a mask, but that the sales lady waited to ask me to put on a mask until I had spent 15 minutes in the store picking out things to try on. I'm sure she figured that I would be less likely to walk out after having invested that time. I explained that I've been vaccinated, but they gave some lame excuse about company policy. If it was an issue, they should have said something immediately. Not only did I walk out, but I left feeling manipulated. Either enforce the policy or don't. Don't try to play it both ways."
