Reviews of LOFT
"Disclaimer: I hate shopping. But today’s experience here was tolerable. I needed work clothes, and have been putting it off and dreading it for a month. The associate was helpful and had good suggestions. I didn’t find much that worked for me personally, but everything was cute on the hangers! I wish the lighting was a bit more even in the store. Some dressing rooms were too dark to see what size I was putting on. Others were glaringly bright. Same for the sales floor."
"Really disappointed by this store. Came up at 5:40 to a locked door, realize they close at 6, but staff was less than pleased I wanted to look around. Wasn’t explained the sale, and when I asked about a particular clothing item the attendant just kept doing paperwork and didn’t respond to me. Usually come here on Saturday mornings and it’s fine, but I won’t after-work shop here anymore."
"Customer Service is always EXCELLENT !!one of my Favorites I do feel the clothing is a bit pricey for some of the peices. But they are cute and on trend . Wish they would carry a larger quantity of larger sizes in store. More than one XL per item . I hate that they have closed so many locations."
"I've had some bad experiences at Loft stores in other locations, but the staff here is always nice and very accommodating. Right now selection in-store is limited somewhat due to COVID, but my online store pickups always arrive on time and without issue. Store is clean, and the staff is always attentive without being pushy. Always enjoy shopping here."
"I purchased a shirt and it was my favorite shirt for about one month at which point it fell apart at the seams. I couldn't get back right away as I had surgery the week it fell apart. Having healed, I went to return it without a receipt, assuming they would be able to find my receipt with the credit card I got it with. They couldn't. I was told without my receipt I would be given the current price. The current price is 50% less than I paid. I assume this policy is their to fight against fraud despite the fact that they position themselves as mid level clothing. I asked to speak with the manager (despite the fact I did not have my current 'speak with the manager' haircut). The two women in the front said they were the managers. (We all know this is a lie. You can't have two managers). I was about to accept my low price return and deal with the rest on the back end, but they insisted on taking all of my information. I was not going to share my information with this company. I asked them to enter in whatever, and they said they could not. They even said they needed the information to link to my credit card. Another lie. After my hemming and hawing and annoyance, they asked is they should get Monica (anyone paying attention knows this means there is a manager, and they are not the managers). One went back to get Monica, and the other said she was pumping. I went back to tell her not to stop a woman from pumping. I cracked the door to the back to get her attention and tell them and they started screaming at me that I shouldn't be back there. Then I heard them say Monica was in the bathroom for pumping!!! What sort of archaic Women's store interrupts a woman pumping and makes them pump in the bathroom. I will never shop here again for 3 reasons. 1) Terrible lactation rights for workers 2) Horrible inventory systems if the workers were truly telling the truth about their constraints within the system. Which I assume they were not. 3) Rude, lying staff I left the shirt. I am happy to leave it rather than deal with their nonsense. For a place which doesn't provide name tags for their workers, they certainly have some low class customer service."
