University Crossing Student Apartments

"I only recently moved in this Fall 2023 with my Best Friend so I was here for both the previous property manager, Amanda H., and the new property manager, Kona P. The previous property manager seemed to have a bad rep with all the tenants and I only caught a glimpse of it before she up and left without a word before Kona P. Arrived. To my knowledge, she wasn’t very good at following through with her word but this new property manager has been a delight in my opinion. When we first moved in, we had two fires that could have been fatal to the both of us because of faulty circuits that Amanda H knew of but failed to let us know about and so we had to find out the hard way. The maintenance man came to “fix” it but didn’t really do anything. It wasn’t until we got a new property manager and maintenance person, that was Mr. Smith, that actually came up several times to properly fix the circuit. Both Kona P. and the new maintenance man, Mr. Smith hit the ground running when they arrived here despite being new. They made sure to meet as many tenants in person by going door to door saying hello and have been so easy to talk to whenever I need to come in and ask questions. Mr.Smith has been great to have around and even helped us move in some leftover furniture from the apartment of our neighbors that left out of the blue. Before throwing it away, he asked us if we wanted which of course we did! Anytime we see him, he says hello and is ready to help with any problem we have. It’s just nice that he thinks of us, it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed. As for Kona P., she is down to earth and easy to talk which is a nice change of pace. She also helped us out with someone furniture that could have been thrown away, but she gave to us instead because it was still in perfectly fine working condition. I’m glad to be a tenant here at University Crossing now and hope other tenants can have a better experience now with this new leadership!"

"(Bare with me this is long, but worth it!) I’ve recently moved to this apartment in August of 2023. Upon first impressions it was not all what I expected In the worst ways. When me and my roommate first moved in the property was being managed by Amanda Hurst. She was disingenuous, impatient and rude. At first it seems like she cared but upon interacting with her it was obvisou she didn’t care for anyone’s safety when it came to the apartments. When we moved in our apartment was a partly a hazard. The circuit in the kitchen was faulty and they had previous e tenants complain about them being faulty but had not informed us upon moving in—resulting in almost 2 fires and all she said to explain was that the building we were in was old, and left it at that. When it came to the apartment being cleaned, she explained that she was too busy and put a $50 credit for my rent which never went through and was never thoroughly documented. Amanda even went out of her way to remove the option to make a pest control complaint despite the copious amounts of roaches that infested the apartment. I’ve even had friends who had been dealing with her for over a year and not a single time has she shown any interest in doing her job properly and left abruptly leaving everyone confused on why things weren’t being done. With her leaving came a new Property Manager, Kona P. Kona has been the most helpful and thoughtful Property Manager I have ever met. She immediately went to work when it came to helping me and other tenants, wanting to establish some kind of connection with the residents and get us everything we have been needing, right away. Mr. Smith who has been the new maintenance man had also came with Kona and has been amazing at his job. He managed to fix the circuit and get it to working condition and without it starting any fires, changed our filters and even helped us with most of our furniture. Kona and Mr. Smith have been so genuine in trying to make these apartments livable and are continuing trying to fix Amanda’s mistakes although she’s left them with so many. I believe they both will make a better impact on these apartments and I am happy to go ahead and say that living here will be so much better than what it was with Amanda."

"I have had a pleasant experience living at University Crossing! I enjoy using the pool and the gym in the leasing office. I am able to have my dog here with me, which I love. It’s a fantastic location in relation to CSU. Any time I’ve had an issue, the office staff is happy to help!"

"i love these apartments & the staff. the staff has been very understanding & sweet since the moment i moved in. they’re very welcoming every time i go to the office. the apartments are beautiful & very spacious & the community in the apartments is very friendly & very home-like. chucky (maintenance) is also very kind & very easy to talk to. every time he comes to my apartment to fix something , he’s always having a genuine conversation with my roommate & i."

"University Crossing is one of the best apartment complexes in Columbus! The staff are welcoming, the grounds are well kept, and the apartments are super cozy. Amanda is a great property manager, and Chucky is a great maintenance manager! Give this place a chance and I promise you won’t be disappointed!"
