"The staff is nice and is a good place to go initially (up to blood work). I was told by Keshala that she would place my MRI order with a hospital on post the following day (it was Martin Luther King Day so the hospital would've been closed on the day we spoke with her). However, she called me only once the next day (I never received a notification about the voicemail and finally found it a week later), but since I didn't answer one phone call, Keshala decided to send my MRI order to a random imaging facility in Savannah (cause the hospital didn't accept outside orders that day) rather than discussing with me of my options first (my other option was for me to contact my PCM at the hospital to schedule my MRI). When confronted about this issue, she didn't take responsibility for her mishap - all she did was "apologize for my phone not giving me the notification". Its unethical to not include me (the patient) on this decision since we are the ones traveling back and forth for treatment. Don't be surprised if she doesn't provide good communication or keeps you uninformed. Therefore, I will be taking my business to the Summerville office due to this communication issue with the Savannah one."
"I only had an initial consultation with them in the Savannah office. I never met a Doctor, only an NP. Upon entering the radio was on full blast which was rather jarring. I expected a more serene and soothing ambiance. The receptionist called me “baby” 3 times before I asked her to call me by my name. It felt very insensitive to me being at a fertility clinic. There is no pricing information anywhere on the website so I assumed I’d be discussing overall costs with someone at my initial visit. NOPE. They said I wouldn’t talk with a financial advisor until there was a set plan. But to get to that plan there are tests that need to be done. All they could give me was a ballpark for costs which was on the high side in comparison to other fertility clinics. I don’t want to get invested emotionally or with my money if I can’t afford it as well as in comparison to other clinics I could do 2-3 rounds of ivf rather than 1 here for the same cost. The NP fumbled through our visit, asking me several questions I had just answered on paperwork right in front of her. She didn’t look through all the paperwork the receptionist had given her. Nothing instilled confidence in me that this would be a good place to make a baby. From walking in to leaving I felt nothing but irritation and annoyance that I was likely wasting my time. For such high cost, I have high standards. Only you know what works for you. They certainly don’t work for me. ***Follow up to owners comment. I am a single mother by choice using sperm donor. I told the NP I was interested in going straight to IVF. She was still only able to give me a ballpark pricing which was rather high in comparison to other clinics. Other clinics I have looked into have their pricing spelled out very clearly on their websites which is very refreshing when about to spend your life savings. I understand there are going to be costs above and beyond what is posted on a website, but to even have an accurate jumping off point is extremely helpful when spending that kind of money. Perhaps being more transparent with costs may help your patients make appropriate decisions. Unfortunately my insurance does not cover much, I am single, and want to be financially responsible in the chance I do get pregnant so I can take care of myself and my baby."
"Reached out to the company via phone requesting further information on their procedures. They told me to go online and read their page. I told the representative that I had already read their page and wanted to see if this decision would benefit my family. She gathered my information and said they would send me a text with a link to an intake form and they would reach out to me from there. I filled out the intake form and replied to the text message saying I completed it and was ready to make an appointment like they asked. I haven’t heard from them and it’s been over a month. I went online reaching out to them there as well, no response. Needless to say, I would not trust this facility to take care of my family needs."
"Our experience with the doctors, nurses, and staff at Coastal Fertility clinic was the most efficient and effective in our long journey. After working with them from January 2023 - August 2023 we are happy to be blessed with a healthy pregnancy. Their bed side manner and overall friendliness made our experience very positive."
"I have had a fantastic experience with CFS. All communication and scheduling was done by Tiffany Leonard and she is just great at responding in a timely manner and providing warm and thoughtful answers to all of my questions. All of my appointments in Savannah were with Keshala Newton, who was also so so helpful throughout the process. She made sure I was always comfortable and provided excellent education throughout the process. I cannot recommend CFS enough, especially these two ladies."
