"If you care about your pet's well being, I would avoid this groomer by any means‼️ She clipped a bow to my dog's skin, tried to deny it and took zero accountability!! I came across this groomer while visiting another business in the same plaza so I decided to look into it. I checked out the reviews and eventually had a conversation with the groomer/owner. I was extremely clear about how near and dear my senior pet was to me and that I wanted a thorough understanding of her grooming process. She explained to me her history with pets and how tentative she'd be to my baby's needs so I felt comfortable booking an appointment and was told there will be no other pets being serviced during that visit to ensure she had a more peaceful experience. I booked, signed all the forms and was pleased to see the contract about senior pets basically getting the standard grooming needs met in order to avoid discomfort, etc. as this is a strenuous process for them. So on appointment day, I bring in my fur baby, a bit shocked to see another dog in there and being told there may be another coming. I further explain how I like her cut in addition to the pictures I already provided and she seemed to understand...I come back a few hours later and see my fur baby has a blue bow, dirty ears and a very low cut around her body which is not the trim to her fluff, that I asked for. Zoo explained that there were gaps when she trimmed it so she kept bringing it down to fix it? Confused and disappointed, I pay and leave. Later she offered a free nail trim and 20% off my next visit. A few days go by (Friday) and I'm shocked to see the bow is still on since Monday. So I go to make sure it's not on too tight, only to find it wasn't a rubber band... IT WAS CLIPPED TO HER SKIN. I was horrified to see her skin red and inflamed in between the teeth of this clip as I gently removed it. I cleaned it, put ointment on it and was going to the vet the next day. I immediately inform Zoo of what I found, sent pics and said I will let her know what the vet says. She calls me back to explain that she didn't clip it to the skin, it must've just been irritated from the clip being there. I reiterated that the skin was in between the teeth of the clip and is still pinched together. So what she's saying makes no sense. Not to mention, the clip is so large it wouldn't attach the short fur on her head without slipping off immediately. She then began to say she would've noticed if she pierced the skin which again is not what happened. She then mentioned I signed the contract, which I had to remind her she broke the senior contract by putting this unnecessary bow on her head which caused injury. So she repeated her foolish stance several times completely ignoring the proof and logic of what I was saying so I hung up. There was no accountability... Just ignorance and denial which is pathetic! Overall I understand accidents happen, but common sense in your line of business should be the bare minimum, along with acknowledging when you made a mistake and taking full accountability for it. For the sake of pet owners, I hope she finds another line of work."
