Modern Sports Restaurant

"We really enjoyed our lunch this past Friday at Modern Sports Restaurant. They had all the sports covered with the numerous TV's, that were located throughout the building. The food and atmosphere were excellent and the beer was good. We will be returning to try the chicken fingers and fish and chips. I will add photos the next time I visit."

"Saturday oct 24th around 12:45 to 3pm.... The WORST service. TWO hours for a pizza ! The server admitted she forgot to enter our order...cool, anyone can make a mistake. We asked for fries while we waited as we were starving at this point. Waited.....waited....still... No fries....nor pizza....grabbed the server as she was passing....she commented "oh yeah....I heard an order "ring"...I bet its yours......waited while she served numerous customers drinks behind bar....FINALLY she brings pizza (& fries...lol) She says she will be right back with plates and to go box cuz at this time we needed to leave. Never came back with box....or ticket.. had to ask another server to help us. 1st and last time trying this place....Won't be back. But, pizza was delicious."

"Jamie the manager was the worst part of this experience aside from the cold food, she managed a seat at the bar apart from petting animals before sitting back down. Not one time was I or my children's drinks refilled. Fortunately, one server did her best to ensure all tables were handled. Either way my wife ordered chicken fingers that she didn't eat and when I expressed concern with paying for things we didn't use I was met with a response of "I'll call the police." Hopefully the owner can rectify the lack of management and ensure other families aren't stolen from."

"If I could give this 10 stars I would. I don’t give reviews often, but felt I had to! We had a party of about 25 coming back from a baseball game. Farrin (spelling?) was the only bartender/waitress working. She was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She let us rearrange tables. She knew exactly how to take our orders by boys’ numbers, she was fast, attentive, kind, and everything was accurate. Food came out amazingly quick for having such a big party and no staff. The locals at the bar were so nice, giving us recommendations, having conversations with us. Food was good but service was even better. Great (and numerous) selection of beers on tap! I can’t say how happy we are that we found this place! And to the owner - you struck gold with Farrin!"
