"My wife and I visited for lunch. She had the BLT with sweet potato fries. I had the Southern Burger also with sweet potato fries. BLT and Burger were good and served hot along with the fries. We would have liked the fries to be thicker in cut. However, the dipping sauce made up for it, it was awesome! It is a cellar, as the name states, with a fireplace."

"Super cute little "cellar" restaurant. Very nice ambient lighting and decor. Walking in you go immediately down the stairs. I am unsure if there is another entrance/ramp for handicap patrons. We started with the Cracklins. Not what we expected as we have had them in Louisiana and were vastly different. These appeared to be store-bought pork rinds dropped into a fryer to make them "crackle" and seasoned. While still good, I would not recommend. I got the cowboy burger with fries and it was decent. The fried onions on top were good. Fries are fantastic. They were fresh and crispy. My boyfriend got the ribeye cooked medium (market price was about $36, I believe) and it was delicious. It came with two sides and he got sweet potato fries and collard. Both sides were very tasty. The sweet potato fries came with a special sweet sauce that was very good and interesting. Overall good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The steak, risotto and collard greens were amazing. My wife had the gentleman's burger and it was unbelievably good. The only food that wasn't "good" was the sweet potato fries. They could have been a little crispier. Had the Brie bites as an appetizer with warm honey would highly recommend them. Our server was really very good and I overheard another server as well and he was just as good. The whole atmosphere was amazing and very relaxed, I loved the feeling of the "cellar" . We really had a wonderful time."

"This is our second time here and we thought the first time was a fluke. No, the second time here was even better. I had the best steak sandwich that I have had in decades here. We live 45 minutes away and I would come back for that alone. The other plates are equally fantastic, and of course we topped our meal with the molton lava cake. We will be back!"
