"This was, by far, the worst experience we have ever had staying in a hotel or motel. We were traveling from Florida to Indiana to visit family. The room was in atrocious condition, with black mold in the corners, a "sawdust" feel on the floor, the bathroom was disgusting, the towels were as thick as a paper napkin, but worst of all there were visible large stains on the sheets. My wife and I both slept wrapped in blankets we had packed in our car. We prepaid for the room and didn't arrive until after 11:00 PM so we felt it was too late to sleep at another hotel. However, I will never stay at this location ever again. I strongly suggest that Wyndam Rewards remove this hotel from its program and Baymont Inn needs to revoke any license that allows it to advertise their name. Do yourself a favor and NEVER stay at this location."

"Horrible stay the moment we walked into the room. Cockroaches everywhere. Even in bed and crawled up my two year old daughter’s legs. Dirty bathroom and we found a dirty sock in there. The surrounding environment was sketch. More than a few random men walking around the premises late at night. We left immediately within the hour. Highly do not recommend. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"If there was a way to mark zeros we would. This is the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Had it not been so late we so tired, ww would demanded a refund and exited as quickly as possible. Our room smelled so smoky that by morning my asthma was horrible and my companion was just sick . The room obviously was not cleaned. We found dirty Kleenex in the corner, a plastic bag under the air conditioner, someone's McDonald's shirt and personal towel in the shelf. A Cigarette butt was near the bathroom counter and the bathtub was not cleaned. The desk chair could not hold another stain and was gross. The bedspread was dirty and the TV did not work. The ladies checking us in and out were very friendly, but I hope this place is even safe for them to work. I felt like it was a flop house for drug addicted people. NEVER would I stay here again and will ALWAYS read reviews before checking into a hotel!"

"Let me start by saying we did not even stay in the room. I got a call saying they did not have the original king suite we booked because it's under renovations. The lady on the phone asked if we would be okay with a regular King room. I said yes. I was under the impression it would be cheaper, so I didn't even think to ask about the price difference. We got there around 9pm and checked in. I looked at my bank account after checking in and I had been charged the original $97. I asked the lady at the front desk about it and she assured me the manager could adjust the price the next morning because she did not know how. Upon arriving in the room we checked the room. We usually do this arriving at any hotel. There was hair in the bed, stains on the sheets, bugs, cockroaches in the bathroom, and hair in the sink. We didn't feel comfortable staying there, so we went down the road to book another hotel. We were so tired and hungry at this point we decided we would talk with the manager the next day. This morning we did just that. The manager told us we could not get the price adjusted even though one of her workers told us that we could. I informed her we did not stay in the room and informed her of the housekeeping issues. She told me she would check the room and if we really didn't stay in it she would call about getting us a refund. I have contacted Wyndham directly about this issue, so hopefully we'll get a refund. The only positive thing about this hotel was the night staff was friendly, but that does not make up for the state of this hotel. Moral of the story: do not stay here. Go to the Marriott down the road."

"I arrived and originally was given room 126 or 136. The room was not clean, tile missing from the shower wall, face bowl sink was falling down leaving a large gap, front door lock did not work and only there master key would open the door. They moved me to another room 239, the room had a chair with a busted leg, no toilet tissue and no towels at all. I went to the front desk and got toilet paper and one set of towels for two people. The front desk told me they had not washed towels and they would bring clean towels to my room. That never happened so I couldn’t even shower at this place. To make matters worse the TV didn’t even work. This was clearly my worst hotel stay ever. I will not be returning."
