"I travel to Atlanta for work 20-25 times per year and have been on the search for the best sushi. This is it. You found it. The drinks, atmosphere, and food were top notch. Some of the best food in west midtown. Sophia was such an amazing server. She honestly made the whole experience."

"This a great sushi spot in Atlanta. I’ve tried the Oku in Nashville and wanted to try the other locations after the Nashville location was IMO the best sushi in the city! With that in mind, the Atlanta location is just as great as the atmosphere and ambience was inviting to the eye. We enjoyed our server thus gave 5 stars for the service and atmosphere. The food came out fast as there was plenty of people in dining so there was no short of a wait time for our food. Appetizers - The rock shrimp tempura is like any other fried shrimp I’ve had with a sweet chili sauce but the shishito peppers was my favorite app as the flavors of the Benito flakes and tare sauce worked so well together in every bite. I’d recommend the shishitos if you like your veggies. Sushi - I’ll go ahead and say the Black Magic box style sushi was the best of the three rolls we ordered. The combination of lobster and shrimp gave a amazing texture that worked well with the aioli and squid ink rice. The hotate (Hokkaido scallops) is a favorite nigiri to order if available at any sushi restaurant. It never disappoints. Recommend trying it Aburi style here! The Hachi roll was my second favorite. The combination of the tuna and spicy crab worked great together. Definitely did not miss. Soft shell Spider roll was my least favorite as this reassured me that I am not a fan of fried rolls. The crab was a bit fishy and salty to my liken. I did not think the combination did not work well either in the sushi roll. Drinks were great, I recommend the smoke & mirrors. For the reasons of the soft shell crab roll I give 4 stars. IMO, the Nashville location was better. Overall this a great sushi spot to give a try if you read this far in my review!"

"We celebrated my wife birthday her last August , towards the sunset and omg we were, I was so happy I selected this spot! Roof top available if you book ahead of time. It was hot but my wife lots the heat so there we were. The food and service was great and I’d highly recommend this place."
