"Had my Jeep Grand Cherokee towed here in late November 2023 due to a massive oil leak (5+quarts leaked out into driveway one cold night after having slow leak for 6+ months and wouldn’t start). It took over a week for a call back, which was fine at the time, as i wasn’t in a rush. I was told there was absolutely “not a drop of oil leak” and instead was diagnosed with a bad battery, need for radiator and thermostat replacement, and a trans pan leak. I probed so many times on the oil leak, and was told it wasn’t oil, it was transmission. CB said he and his mechanic drove it around. I was quoted over $2,700. I did not feel comfortable having the work done, as I was 100000% sure I had an oil leak. It wasn’t a question on my end - more of a statement. I said I’d just pay for the battery and pick it up. I was told the radiator was in such bad condition that I didn’t “need to even drive it to the store” or the engine would blow. This was odd, as my car has never even slightly run hot. Nonetheless, I paid $1,495.00 for a battery, radiator and thermostat as I didn’t want to lose my car. I finally got the call to pick it up over 3 weeks later, and didn’t even drive it to the red light on Lawrenceville Hwy/Beaver Ruin before I could smell the oil burning. After driving 30 minutes to my destination, I had no oil in my car. I put over 30 quarts of oil in my car (no exaggeration) within 2 weeks after picking my car up from Lilburn Auto. They couldn’t have even driven my car around the corner without not only smelling, but seeing a major oil leak. Luckily, I employ a team of diesel mechanics who were able to diagnose the probable issue within 5 minutes. Oil filter housing was cracked. No transmission leak at all. I ended up taking it to the Jeep dealership after being burned by Lilburn Auto for $1,500. I had to pay another $1,491 to Jeep to fix the actual issue/oil leak. Jeep said there’s no way I should have needed a radiator or thermostat with the year and miles on my Jeep. I didn’t even ask for that information, but they told me I got ripped off by Lilburn Auto. I also feel like the inability to find or identify such a massive oil leak makes me wary of their expertise, or lack thereof. With all that said, CB was a very nice person and seems to be a great salesman. Just be very cautious if you’re a single woman like myself - you may just get taken advantage of. This was a huge hit to take at Christmas time as a single mom."
"These people are scammers. I went over for an oil change, transmission oil change and tire rotation. I have asked for how much it gonna cost they said they were working on it. Around 20 minutes later I realized they were lifting up the care and we're working it. I told them that it does not work like that they don't start working on my car without giving a quote. If we don't agree, you will ask me to pay for the work already performed right? The young man got mad, lowered my car and asked me to leave. That's unacceptable."
"It's my first time here. Carmax recommended. Visited for an oil change. CB, checked the vehicle in. He's a very friendly person, this was an overall good interaction. He was just as nice to everyone who came in. Got here at 8:20 AM and was out by 9:40 AM. I have no complaints or anything Negative to state."
"Staff was nice and communicated well. We waited several days before writing this review to ensure all mechanical operated fine as much work was done (brakes pads replaced, oil change, radiator flush, transmission service, engine tune up) and all Mechanical seems to be fine. However, leather seat & console damaged and GPS power cable & iPhone power cable cut. We showed The service rep this and they explained that a rodent must have damaged leather (but happened at this shop sometime during the vehicles 4 day stay, so beware). Cables Being cut was explained as the car having a poor design where cables can be cut when closing center console. But know that I had no problems for 9+ years, so figure service carelessness. Husband personally repaired/spliced cables, but leather is damaged."
